Fun Walkthrough of London

This was a great experience. I left feeling accomplished for seeing the best tourist sites and for learning about London's history (all within a day!). I recommend being in Will's group, if it is possible. Will is a phenomenal tour guide, and a pleasure to learn from: It is a quite long tour, but it never felt long which I believe is due to his delivery of the many facts and locations we visited within London. He also gives great recommendations directly proceeding the end of the tour!

very nice dome

very nice visit with audio guide the cathedral is beautiful (the only one with a dome in England). Bold architecture, beautiful mosaics, height of 365 feet (one per day of the year). The crypt is also interesting: Churchill's grid is level with the tombs of Nelson and Wellington. Don't be discouraged by checking tickets at the entrance. The audio guides are well after the entrance on the left.

Great Comprehensive Tour of London

Jason was our tour guide for this comprehensive tour in 3 parts of London. He was so personable and easy to hear and understand through the tour. Not only did we see the changing of the guard from a great vantage point, but throughout the day he had fascinating antidotes so we got to know th Royal Family along the way. It was a gorgeous day and a lot of walking for the first 3 hours but Jason stopped often to let us catch our breath and informed and entertained every step of the way. Then we boarded the underground for a really pleasant sightseeing walk along the Thames. Finally spent an hour on St. Mark’s Cathedral where we were able to listen to the beautiful Eveningsong service before they closed. It was a super full and tiring day but we absolutely loved it. And being in our 60s we were concerned it might be too much, but it wasn’t and Jason was just great. The whole tour was super organized.

Very disappointed! We felt rushed, had little time for pictures and insufficient restroom breaks.

The itinerary indicated we would end at St Paul’s Cathedral however we did not and had to walk 30 minutes to get back there from where the tour actually ended. We also thought we were going to be able to access sites instead of just pointing to them. We did not go to Tower bridge and the guide pointed to London bridge however we did not walk across it. . We saw the outside of the Shakespeare theater but did not go in. Since the tour did not end at St Paul’s Cathedral (and we paid extra for the admission tickets) we had to backtrack over the Thames and spend 30 minutes getting back there leaving only 40 minutes to tour it. We did not have time to walk the 576 steps to the top which was disappointing. We came all the way from Colorado and picked this tour over other tours but were disappointed. The guide asked several times if we really wanted to keep going. We started with about 30 people and ended with about a dozen. Overall, we saw more in less time the day before when we toured on our own.

Rarely seen such a beautiful church/cathedral

During our delicious lunch at the Brasserie near St. Louis. Pauls I saw that tickets are cheaper online than at the church itself. Real Zeeuwen don't pay a penny too much so ordered 2 tickets online. Long live internet / smartphone. What a beautiful cathedral, rarely seen anything so beautiful. We did not go up because of limited mobility.

Sublime

One word would sum up this place. Beautiful! A real masterpiece for the time. A cathedral as beautiful outside as inside. For the bravest climb up to the top and you will have a 180-degree view of London. For me a must-see of London really!

St Paul's cathedral

We had 2 hours to kill before our coach home the St Paul's experience was so great we plan to come back with more time to spare. You have to be fit to climb the stairs but the views were well worth it.

Visit of the Cathedral

I found the visit very interesting especially with the audio guide that explains well the different parts of the Cathedral. Tickets are cheap and the tour lasts long enough for a good visit

No Safety Awareness

The guide was not safety aware. He approached a dangerous situation near Trafalgar Square and had to be told to leave. He cut through traffic. He did not know basic London facts. His timing was off about Buckingham Palace. I ordered and paid for six hours and only received three. His three hour tour ended at the Abbey and he cut us loose. Then I had to find my own way to St Paul's.
