St. Andrews overview

Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Saw quite a bit in a short period of time, which is what the tour was designed for. Would have loved to spend more time at several of the sites and also to have visited the famous bridge on the old course. 👍

Good mix of golf and town history

Fiona was a great tour guide! Made us wish we had more time in St. Andrews with all the local knowledge she shared. Definitely worth the cost.

The tour and the tour...

The tour and the tour guide were perfect! Jamie did an excellent job providing us with the history of the golf course, the Protestant revolution, and the University in a very engaging fashion. He also went out of his way to wish all of us Americans a happy July 4th, both in a text prior to the tour that day and then when we met him in person!

It’s a great way to learn about all facets of St Andrew’s: golf course, the university and history. The city is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It’s an easy trip from Edinburgh.

Great tour!

We really enjoyed the St. Andrew’s Must-Sees Daily Walking Tour! Our guide was supper knowledgeable about St. Andrew’s history since he grew up there and attended the university. He was witty and told many stories about the city and the university. Definitely a great way to see everything and have a better understanding of how the city evolved.

Great tour and guide

Although all of the places we visited were within easy walking distance, we wouldn't have visited them if we hadn't been on the tour, so it was definitely worthwhile, and the guide was very good.
