Entrance to the Leaning Tower takes place at the end of the tour. Please allow 10 to 15 minutes to leave your bags at the cloakroom, and an additional 10 minutes to collect them afterwards. The climb up and down the tower takes approximately 30 minutes.

- Minimum age is 8 years for the Leaning Tower. 251 steps. Not recommended for people with heart issues.
- Dress code: to go inside the cathedral, back, shoulders and at least half thighs must be covered or entrance to the monument won’t be possible
- DiscoveryPisa offers a refund on cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to your tour. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your tour will not be refunded.
- As stated above, we do not refund clients within 24 hours of a tour, and this includes customers who are late due to flight or train cancellations, delays or issues caused by traffic or congestion, Train or flight strike etc. We do not refund either if these problems are caused by the rain.
- For the customers arriving by cruise ship, pay attention to how far the harbour is from the meeting point.
- Leaning tower tickets timing: English and Spanish at 11.30 or 11.45, German at 14.00.
- Due to the 2025 Jubilee and its Ceremonies, the Cathedral may not be open to visitors or could be visited only partially, and the guide will have to do his explanation from the outside, as well as on Sunday mornings.

We did 90 minute tour which was about right as all the sights very close to each other - then we left the guide to go up the tower. We did struggle a little with the guide as her accent/delivery resulted in the words being received in a continual rising & falling way which was distracting & sometimes difficult to follow.

This was a great tour! The pickup spot was right in front of the entrance, so it was very easy to locate. Our tour person was very knowledgeable and fun.

Not everyone can go up 7 floors. You have to warn him! I can not upload them, therefore I felt conned. Very good guide.

Sabemos que esto sería una solución más fácil, pero esta es justamente la razón por la cual subir a una torre tan antigua es una experiencia tan especial. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about Pisa and if history in general. The site is beautiful and we enjoyed access to the Cathedral and the Tower. There’s additional monuments for additional money to visit. Be prepared to leave your belongings in a locker before getting on line for the tower. Also, be prepared to take that hike up! It’s a great workout!

Andrea is a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. She explained the rivalry between Pisa and Florence while explaining the Medici family influence on Pisa. Walking through the cathedral and then having access to the tower was very interesting. It was wonderful to explore the Square of Miracles and ending with information about the leaning tower. Excellent tour and Andrea is amazing. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Great tour, excellent tour guide. She was knowledgeable and easy to listen to. She was informative but made it fun. She checked everyone was OK and answered questions. The climb up the leaning tower was lots of steps, so only do this if you can manage over 300 steps. The steps weren't steep, but in places the marble was a little slippery and worn and uneven. The climb was worth it for fabulous views over the city and the cathedral.
