It is also famous as a filming location for Korean dramas and is the best place to take many beautiful photos during your trip to Korea. Gangchon Rail Bike is a tourist attraction where you can enjoy the scenery while riding a bike on the currently unused Gyeongchun Line rail. This course passes through a zelkova tree tunnel that changes its appearance depending on the season and crosses the dizzying 30m high Bukhangang River railroad bridge that crosses the Bukhangang River. This is a round-trip course that starts from Gapyeong Station, stops at Gyeonggang Station, and returns to Gapyeong Station. Petite France, a small French cultural village in Korea, is a space for growing children's dreams and a fairy tale-like space that reminds adults of their childhood.

We are going to Nami Island. It takes 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Nami Island is famous tourist destinations in Korea where you can enjoy and heal while enjoying the beautiful nature of Korea. Nami Island is 63 km away from Seoul in the direction of Chuncheon, and is famous for its beautiful tree lined roads. It is the best place to take many beautiful photos. In 2002, Korean drama "Winter Sonata" was filmed on Nami Island. Since then this island has become very famous. We'll stay in Nami Island for about 2 hours.
Gangchon Rail Bike is a tourist attraction where you can enjoy the scenery while riding a bike on the currently unused Gyeongchun Line rail. This course passes through a zelkova tree tunnel that changes its appearance depending on the season and crosses the dizzying 30m high Bukhangang River railroad bridge that crosses the Bukhangang River. This is a round-trip course that starts from Gapyeong Station, stops at Gyeonggang Station, and returns to Gapyeong Station. Gyeonggang Station is the filming location of the movie ‘Letter’.
We will have the famous chicken barbecue in Chuncheon for lunch.
Petite France, a small French cultural village in Korea, is a space for growing children's dreams and a fairy tale-like space that reminds adults of their childhood. There is a flea market lined with European antiques on the roadside, the melody of music boxes made hundreds of years ago in your ears, and marionette performances in the square. A place where you can enjoy various cultural experiences and performances from Europe, including France. You can see, enjoy, and experience everything in France as if you were walking through the streets of France.
We return to Seoul. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions.

Emily provided us with a wonderful day at Nami island and the surrounding area. We had time to explore on our own as well which was a great balance. would recommend this option for a day trip from Seoul.
During our few days in Seoul before embarking on a cruise, we took this tour. Our guide, Kane Kim, had excellent communication with me leading up to the tour (using WhatsApp) and met us outside our Airbnb the morning of the tour as scheduled. Kane ensured it was a memorable experience, and he was an exceptionally knowledgeable and informative guide who paid close attention to our needs. Our first stop was Nami Island. Being mid-October, we found Nami Island to be a picturesque place with the Fall colors. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable few hours on the island before heading to the Gangchon Rail Park. Seeing pictures of the rail park when booking this tour, I thought how fun this would be, and it did not disappoint us. It is a comfortable ride with minimal peddling once you get moving. It was a leisurely and scenic ride, and I am glad we had this opportunity. Our last stops were the Glouster Heroes Bridge (suspension bridge), a nearby Buddhist shrine, and lastly Petite France. Of these three stops, we found our short stop at Petite France to be disappointing. Overall, it was a wonderful day, and one to remember. Thank you, Kane, for making that happen.
We had an excellent day with Kim at Nami Island. The weather was perfect and so was our guide. We enjoyed his calm, laid back demeanor. It is exactly what the tour called for. After Nami Island, the rail bike was a perfectly scenic way to work for our lunch, which was DELICIOUS! The chicken galbi was hot, fresh and full of flavor. Get it spicy, if your palette will tolerate it. Yum! aMy husband and I did not want to go to Petite France so Kim suggested the Jade Garden instead. It ended up being THE highlight of our trip. We could have spent hours there basking in the beauty of nature.

We had an amazing time on our tour with Tom Kim. He picked us up on time about 7AM at Myeongdong and arrived to see Nami lsland at early morning with beautiful scene. When riding a rail bike, our family was carefully instructed by Tom on how to ride a rail bike safely. After rail bike, we came to the Garden of Morning Calm, the garden has countless beautiful flowers, especially Tom helped us take family photos with a 1000 years old tree. He was very organized and kept the time of our tour perfectly to maximize our time at each place, so we don't need to spend time to wait. We arrived hotel at 5PM. He drove carefully, so we felt very safe with him. Tom Kim is a great and kind tour guide, he helps our family to take photos of special scene of each place. He was thoughtful about each stop, take care us well. Our family had an absolutely amazing day. We will definitely be back and will recommend this tour to our friends Autumn 2024

One of the best tours ever. Nami Island was amazing. My family and I had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, ANDY, deserves 10 stars for his top-notch service from the get go. He shared many interesting insights about Korea. And what a fun guy! By the end of the tour, it felt like he was part of the family already. LoL.
