This was a great tour and JP was a great person to do the tour with. He really brought out the complexity of the civil war for all of us.
Excellent tour full of information. The guide Chema literally gives it his all. A 10!!!
If you like history and the history of the Spanish Civil War, you cannot miss this tour with Chema.
Amazing tour! Our guide Victor was engaging and informative and just a great down to earth person! As a history buff Victor covered all the major points of the civil war and from a neutral point of view, which must be tough. The added sound effects were also a highlight. Highly recommend to anyone visiting. You will not be disappointed. Ps hello Victor's Mum & Dad 👋
We met Chema on the tour about the Spanish Civil War and, after three hours, we were left wanting to keep listening to him. The amount of information, the details he provides, his acting facet, and the passion with which he conveys history make the visit through Madrid an unbeatable experience. It's a pity it was our last day in the city. But next time we already know where to look for him. Totally recommended!
Fantastic tour. Dynamic and approachable guide, connects the real settings with the history of the Civil War, achieving clear and very instructive explanations. It is an essential and enjoyable experience to understand our most recent past.
Chema is the best. He has an impressive knowledge of Spanish history and culture, and he knows how to convey it in a fun and very interesting way. We finished the tour with a strong desire to keep reading and learning about the Spanish Civil War. We recommend this experience without any doubt.
Truly excellent!! Chema knows a lot, not only about history but also about art! It was a super complete and interesting tour. He was able to answer all our questions, and we finished the tour being able to understand much better the reasons and consequences of the civil war. Thank you very much, Chema! Highly recommended!!
Excellent. Our guide JP was incredibly knowledgeable and used different teaching tools and methods to help us understand Spain in the 1920s to the end of the war in 1939 as well as the lingering effects through the present.
