South Vietnam: 3-Day Mui Ne, Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour

It was just the Kuchi Tunnel, but it was an amazing experience. It was a great experience to experience the history of the Vietnam War. Getting to the Mekong River can be arduous, so only the Kuchi Tunnel is recommended.

My sister and I booked a three day “South Vietnam: 3-Day Mui Ne, Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Tour” on TripAdvisor. Each day had a different guide, and we especially appreciated Elise, Anna, Theo, and Lenny for making our time in Saigon memorable. Elise handled all the logistics by arranging transportation, tour guide, and lunch for the group (which we loved). She also checked in with us on WhatsApp days before and the morning of our tour to confirm we had everything we needed, including our guide’s name and the car’s license plate to watch for. Anna was our guide for the first day of the tour. She was knowledgeable, kept us hydrated with water bottles, and patiently answered our many questions – even those unrelated to the tour. One of our stops was Sơn Mài Lâm, a handicraft company where artisans affected by Agent Orange create beautiful and meticulous lacquer art, jewelry, and other works. At Cu Chi Tunnels, Anna gave us an in depth walk through of its history and importance. Theo was our guide on the second day and was incredibly knowledgeable about every site we visited. He reminded us to wear our seatbelts, kept us hydrated with water bottles, gave realistic time estimates, adapted to the weather, and prioritized our safety throughout. He also took amazing photos of us and our group. Lenny was our guide on the third day. He took the time to personally pick us up at our hotel since it was located in a narrow alleyway. Our tour for the day was in the Mekong Delta area so we were super excited when Lenny told us that was his hometown. Like our other guides, he prioritized our safety and was communicative about start/end times between stops, was patient with our photo requests at every stop and across multiple devices, and took amazing photos. The drivers hired by SST Travel got us to and from each stop safely without any hiccups. We highly recommend SST Travel and would 100% book again, especially for Elise, Anna, Theo, and Lenny.

This is the most voluminous and cheapest of the various tour guides. Japanese tour guides tended to take 1.5-2 times as long. If your daily English conversation is fine, this is the most recommended plan. It's the most cost-effective and always enlivens you with jokes. He also taught me about Vietnamese history and trivia, which was really fun.

Very good and genuine service , so friendly staff and very humble to the tourist . Loved the service provided by this company . A great experience over all .

Our trip to the Mekong Delta with our guide Elbiee was absolutely fantastic. He was super engaging and cheerful, and made sure every single detail was covered. He's so young but was an absolute pro and took amazing care of all of us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with my friends!

The bus that picked us up was on-time. Very punctual. The tour guide was very intelligent and he knows what he is speaking about. As a history major, he never missed any single detail about the Mekong river and Vietnam's history. Highly recommended!

It is definitely worth a trip, enjoy the beautiful views, learn about the Vietnam War and boat trips to the Mekong River, and take a lot of photos, will be a great memory

Paid for my son's bag. He waited for more than an hour to get his checked in bag I paid full price for. Very poor service Delta Airlines and the flight was not cheap.
