Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30. Must be 21 years or older to take this tour.

Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

Great wineries and great experience! Richard, our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable! We didn’t get to experience the open air trolley because it was getting repaired but overall, the tour was great!

This was a great way to see Sonoma vineyards and wineries! Each stop had a different atmosphere but all had great wines! Richard was a wonderful host and driver who shared history and insights about Sonoma along the way!

Many tasting over the course of four vineyards. Our favorite stop was Buena Vista. Enjoyed the food at lunch but would not recommend the wine there maybe try the beer flight. Paul was an excellent guide.

A great way to visit 4 wineries and not worry about driving! The tours were interesting Buena Vista being the best one. We tasted some very good wines and even bought some to be shipped home! The only thing I would have liked to know ahead which wineries we were visiting. We visited one of them on our own the day before. Nonetheless it was worth a second trip! The driver was great and the group with us were fun. The winery guides were knowledgeable and pleasant.

I wish we would have had a guide that was more informative with history of the area. The wineries we visited were beautiful and very knowledgeable about the wine.

We enjoyed our driver who was very familiar with the area and its history. He was fun and made the tour enjoyable. We liked the wineries that were selected for the tour. It was relaxing and a great day.

We weren’t told the trolley had been replaced by a van, and so then the van left without us. So our guide Michael said I would be reimbursed for the $25 uber ride to the first stop.
We do apologize for the inconvenience that our trolley broke down the morning of the tour. As historic vehicles, these things do happen unexpectedly.
