Seeing the coral and fish from the glass bottom boat was great. Green Island is not much of a place. The food outlets are a bit grungy. So we were glad to finally make the return journey back to Cairns. I would not do this again.
Note that you have to go to the tour office to get the actual tickets ahead of the boat time. The boat was fast and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Green island was great and had super snorkeling. There are restaurants and food options available. They had public shower area to rinse off. Bathrooms on island.

I chose to go on the flat bottom boat. It lasted only half an hour and the rest of the time I spent walking on the forest boardwalk. I think the tour is better value for those who snorkel.

Very easy check in at Cairns terminal. Boat ride and crew was great, even getting a cuppa on board before departure. We had the glass bottom boat included in our ticket which I highly recommend and then we paid to hire a snorkel and goggles to see some of the reef ourself, another activity I highly recommend . Lots of food variety on the island for lunch and showers and toilets . We did the 6 hour, which we found was plenty for us, but would be easy to chill on the island all day . Loved it .

Very unhappy as my son had to wee in his pants after asking for 15 - 20 minutes to have a wee out the back as we were drifting along. No apologies or anything from the guide only simpethy from other members on the tour.

The tour operator decided to add surcharge of $4AUD due to rising gas when I booked the tour 3 months ago. All other tours decided not to add surcharge as it's part of doing business. It is especially true when the cruise has capacity of 300+ so it's easier to hedge costs. When the gas prices come down it's not like they will refund $4 instead

Good operators, friendly knowledgeable staff. Easy check in, we stayed for 3 hours on island, was enough time for us. Had a snorkel, and a glass bottom boat ride. Had to pay extra to do both, but I was aware of that.
