Pick up from the hotel in the morning and go to visit Koh Nang Yuan Speed boat departs from Samui to Koh Nang Yuan take about 1:30 hrs. Arrive at Koh Nang Yuan. You can simply relax on the beach, snorkeling with beautiful corals in crystal clear water which call Japanese Garden or sightseeing by climbing up the view point to make a memory. After that, heading to Koh Tao for lunch and snorkeling. Note: The program to visit Koh Nang Yuan can be in the morning and afternoon depends on the sea tide. Tour guide has a right to inform on the spot without any advance noticed.
Have lunch at the restaurant on the beach at Koh Tao about 45 - 60 minutes. Then, making 2 spot of snorkeling at Ao Muang (Mango Bay) or other sites around Koh Tao area. Snorkeling in dazzling clear water with variety of marine life. After that, returning back to Koh Samui

It was a great time! I didn’t realize how long the boat ride would be, so definitely check the weather beforehand if you’re even a little prone to seasickness. Our ride back was very choppy, a few people got sick.

The speedboat was full of tourists. As you are sitting on the boat, you cannot see the view. The boat smells like diesel fuel. The crew were nice and helpful, and generous with the water. However, at the beginning of the trip, they scare you into buying water shoes so that you will not get injured by the sea urchins. While we did not fall for that scam, most people did. Not a single sea urchin was seen by anyone the entire day. Also, they take your shoes and do not give them back until the end of the trip, so you are forced to either walk barefoot, or wear their $10 shoes. After riding for 1 hour 45 min., we arrived at the first snorkel spot - near the rocks. Poor visibility and very few fish. The second spot was a tad bit better and I did see a turtle and fish, but still poor visibility. Lunch was buffet and terrible food. Lastly, we were taken to the island, which was beautiful, but overrun with tourists. If you are looking for good snorkeling in Thailand, this is NOT your trip. Try the Surin Islands.

Actually, in the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Tao is the best place for snorkeling and diving, however on your traveling date the weather may not be good enough, and please can not compare with Surin island where is located at the Andaman side which is more deep sea over there. With the crowed, because of the high season so every where is quite load of tourists at the moment, so hope to get your understanding with this is out of our control. Regarding with the shoes, crews keep them because it used to have the situation of loss and can be slippery if wearing the shoes and walking on the boat, however on Nang Yuan island you will have them for walking on the island. Selling the shoes it is only the optional to be aware in case of having sea urchin because some days have, but we will send this feedback to the crews team to be more careful once giving the information. We absolutely enjoyed the trip and had an amazing time snorkelling in Koh Tao and hiking around the beautiful Koh Nang Yuan. With the help of a tour guide, we were lucky enough to spot a turtle and capture some great photos and videos. The tour guides spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful throughout the experience.

The people who run this are very nice and friendly but the experience is over-crowded and only okay. The boat is packed. The first snorkel spot is filled with sea lice that nip at your body. The second spot is nice water but not many fish. The third stop is a beautiful island but it is so crowded you can barely move and cant find a spot to relax. Lunch was not good. This trip would be great if they decreased the number of people on the boat by 50% and the number of boats going to the private island by 80%.
