Description
Swimming in a cenote (a natural spring-fed sinkhole) is a must-do when visiting Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. During this half-day tour from Playa del Carmen, you will venture into the jungle to Cenote Nohoch Nah Chich and enjoy a refreshing dip in its pristine, turquoise water beneath a canopy of stalactites and jungle vines. Afterwards, transfer to Akumal Beach for a swim above the ground to spot sea turtles coming feeding on seagrass.

Pickup Locations & Times
We provide pick up service in most hotels. If your hotel does not have a pick up service, we will give you the nearest meeting point. For Tulum hotels the meeting point is at Hotel Andreas 09:15 am. Tulum does not have a hotel pick-up service. Drop off to Tulum for operational reason is in a public transportation. Our staff pay the ticket for you.

- Total time including the land transportation to the places to visit and come back to your hotel or meeting point is between 5 and 6 hours, depending on the location of your accommodation.
- Not included: Turtle care program , 400 MXN per person, must be paid at the travel date.
- For logistics and operation reasons, the visit to the cenote can be changed to another one similar characteristics.
- The use of any type of sunscreen is not allowed during the swimminng with turtles activity,

Booked through tripadvisor before we went. They asked for my mobile and hotel. Agila tours whatsApped me in advance and provided updates. They picked us up from the hotel and even messaged to let me know there was a 10 min delay. We went to Akumal and had a private guide who found us green turtles and little stingrays. On we went to Canote, grandmas house was great. Our guides knowledge was fantastic. We couldn't take photos as that was a may an condition, but they sent us loads for 50USD. The pictures are great thankyou. We were given Mayan traditional food free at a buffet which was really tasty. Nice rice pudding too with cinnamon. Safely delivered back yo the hotel later. Thankyou for the experiences.

We traveled as a family, and it was great to see turtles and manta rays. The driver Cesar and the guide Camas were super nice and very pleasant. Camas is a real character who made our visit to the cenote a lot of fun. A 10 out of 10 excursion
