Itinerary
The tour starts at the striking and colorful Seven Magic Mountains art installation. Situated in the open desert just outside of Las Vegas, this large-scale public art piece by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone features seven towering stacks of vibrantly painted boulders, each standing over thirty feet tall.
Your next destination is Nelson’s Ghost Town, one of Nevada’s most well-preserved and storied historic sites. Nestled in Eldorado Canyon, Nelson was once a thriving gold mining town during the late 19th century. Upon arrival, you’ll be transported back in time as you explore the weathered remnants of this once-bustling mining community. You will have the chance to explore Nelson's Ghost Town and Techatticup Mine, the oldest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. You'll learn captivating tales of the town’s Wild West history—lawless gunfights, mysterious disappearances, and the fortunes and tragedies that shaped life in the mining camp.
Step into one of Nevada’s oldest and most iconic Wild West saloons. Built in 1913, the Pioneer Saloon still has its original stamped-tin walls, bullet holes from old bar fights, and a classic wooden bar that looks straight out of a movie set. Inside, you’ll find vintage photos, mining artifacts, and stories from the boomtown era when Goodsprings was alive with prospectors and dreamers. The saloon has been featured in films and TV shows, and it’s known as a favorite stop for celebrities, travelers, and history lovers.

I enjoyed visiting the bar from the Fallout games! More Fallout items are out during their fan week, but still had a few nods to the game and a gift shop with a few themed merchandise items. I also enjoyed the other two stops! Seeing the way the area would have looked back in the day, as well as some of the older vehicles they acquired over the years was great!
Thank you so much for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed visiting the Fallout inspired stop and finding some of the game references and themed items along the way. It’s also great to hear you enjoyed the other stops, the historic atmosphere, and the classic vehicles that help bring the area’s past to life. Thank you for choosing Forventura Tours, and we hope to welcome you again soon.
