Experience a walking tour through central Munich focusing on the City's association with Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party. The tour draws together modern day Munich with it's more sinister past which is not obvious to the casual visitor. Your highly experienced native English speaking guide will lead you through this beautiful city, pointing out structures pertaining to the period whilst interweaving the story with a biography of Adolf Hitler and his relationship with the city.

Marienplatz is the start point of the tour, from here you will walk through Munich and your professional guide will point out locations relating to Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party. The old town hall on the square will be pointed out. This is where the decision was taken to carry out a pogrom against the Jewish population of Germany in 1938
Hitler regularly gave speeches in the Hofbrauhaus. We walk past the location after discovering the founding location of the Nazi party and the SS.
See the location of where a gun battle took place between the Nazis and the Bavarian police. This happened during the beer hall coup of 1923
See the building where the Munich agreement took place in 1938. Stand where the Nazis used to conduct their ceremonies in respect of the 1923 failed beer hall coup. Also guests can then visit the documentation centre of National Socialism if they so wish at the end of the tour.

If you are a history buff or wanna know About Germany’s dark but significant past. You have to Take this tour. Trust me it’s like watching your history textbook come alive .Evans really made this tour really interesting and captivating. This was definitely my highlight of My Munich holiday trip. Alun provided a comprehensive explanation of how Munich gave birth to the National Socialist movement and its important landmarks. Without that knowledge it would be difficult to stand in the footsteps of history since the landmarks are generally not identified in any way. If you like history this tour is well worth the time.
