The trip to Dachau Concentration waa very informative. Our guide Jake Goldner was very knowledgeable and a very engaging individual. The whole process from the train ride and bus ride there and back as well as the actual guide through the camp was well done. Kudos to Jake for being a wonderful guide.
It was wonderful! Our guide was so knowledgeable. To learn about what actually took place here was very sobering. Wear comfortable shoes!
While visiting Munich in May 2026, we took the Radius Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site tour. We specified that we wanted the English language tour. Mark Pearson was our tour guide. Mark was an amazing guide! His passion for military history was evident throughout the tour. He provided lots of factual information related to the events that lead up to WWII and how Hitler was able to gain power. While this tour’s subject matter was extremely sobering, Mark readily shared his wealth of knowledge of Dachau in a very professional and personable manner. We had several occasions during the tour to spend more time viewing exhibits on our own. We knew that we could certainly have visited the Memorial Site on our own. But we felt we could get much more from the visit by taking a guided tour. Mark exceeded our expectations.
Land, We really appricaite this outstanding feedback on the Dachau Memorial Site Tour and how much you enjoyed Mark P as a guide. Thank you so much, Radius Tours
Jake was an outstanding, energetic, and knowledgeable guide--and he not only had a big, loud, gregarious voice and personality, but he was very good at interacting with some of the younger middle-school/high school aged boys on the tour. I strongly recommend this tour. While I had already been to three other concentration campus, and even if Dachau does not quite pack the punch of a long day at Auschwitz, it still is deeply moving and a powerful experience. While I knew Dachau was the first concentration camp, I knew nothing more about it. Jake's background and knowledge was terrific and I learned a lot. I think it is very important to see these camps, especially with the rise of misinformation, and people insisting this "did not happen," or was "not as bad as people say," people need to see and hear the truth. This tour certainly does that. Once again, an excellent tour and highly recommended. Super well organized, terrific guide, and powerful learning experience.

Joanne, thanks for taking the time to review your tour with Jake, safe travels.
We met with Jake who guided us to and through Dachau and provided great insight into its history. For a very difficult topic, he did an excellent job of showing us the camp and helping us truly understand the atrocities that took place there and throughout the region during the World War.
Thanks for taking the time to give this great review of the tour you took with Jake to the Memorial. Much appreciated.
