Description
This package is designed for those who just have one day in Sài Gòn and want to experience two most popular destinations nearby the city, Củ Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta. It will be a long day and you will spend almost 5 hours on a van traveling from city center to the Củ Chi district, the Mekong Delta, and back to Sài Gòn. So, if you have more than a day, we recommend you make two different day tours to enjoy each tour at its best.

We pick up guests at several hotels; your hotel might be the first, so please be ready by 07:30a.m.
Upon arrival, we will watch a brief propaganda video before spending the next hour exploring weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic VC tunnels, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), firing range and more. Try some local tapioca before driving back to the city.

We will embark on a 1.5-hour drive to the beautiful Mekong Delta. Sit back and relax as we journey through picturesque countryside scenery and witness the daily life of local people. Your delicious five-course lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Savor the flavors of authentic Vietnamese cuisine while taking in the ambiance and hospitality of the locals.
Upon arrival, Step aboard a motorboat and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Mekong River as we cruise along its picturesque canals and waterways, taking in stunning views of the legendary Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islands.
Experience the charm of local life by taking a peaceful sampan ride along the shady, breezy canal, rowed by friendly locals. Afterward, hop on a Xe Lôi – a type of local transportation – to explore the villages. * Embark on a scenic boat trip through the picturesque canals shaded by water coconut trees, as we make our way back to the Mỹ Tho pier. * Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing 1.5-hour transfer back to Hồ Chí Minh City, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of your day in the Mekong Delta. * Finally, we’ll drop you off back at your pick-up point in the city center as per your request.

With only two days in Ho Chi Minh we decided to book a whirlwind one day tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong in our own limo. What could have been cringy and touristy was a super informative, personal and fun tour for the whole family. Our guide Kevin was so informative and spoke directly to our kids so they were engaged and felt included. Despite some motion sickness by our youngest, Kevin was patient and friendly and such an expert. Highly recommend.
