This was a wonderful tour. Our son, 8, wanted to go to Pompeii with his grandfathers - and this tour was perfect. Our guide, Clelia, had his full attention throughout, taking us on a tour that never spoke down to him or dumbed anything down but was engaging and informative for the whole family. The tour was perfectly paced, not trying to do too much, but offering an ideal balance of breadth of detail. Nate gave the tour 10/10, and we were all delighted to also have Clelia for the tour of Herculaneum. Also highly recommended.
Our guide (Laylo- sp?) did an exceptional job of engaging our grandkids (10&12). We all had a great time and learned so much interesting and fun stuff.
We loved the private tour for just us four. The special attention the kids got, the quizzes and scavenger hunt really got my 6yo son involved. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and very sweet. It was a beautiful tour and we are glad we booked it. Highly recommend.
Amazing guide, we all loved her, she made it all come alive and told us things we were talking about for the rest of the trip. Totally exceeded our expectations, loved it!
very nice, still gives a certain fear when you look at the Vesuvius and see it there so pertinently. I think a little more information and more points of support to the tourist would be nice (bathroom and bar)
The tour guide was excellent. My family was very pleased with everything. I will recommend you and the guide. We as a family ratebherba10.
Our guide, Roberta, was exceptional. She met us right outside the entrance, quickly got us inside and on our tour. She made a “game” of it by assigning points to us (mostly our 9-year-old) when we could answer questions. When we walked into the theater, she found a fellow tour guide who was a trained opera singer and convinced her to sing “O Solo Mio” to demonstrate the acoustics. Because of the heat, she gave us several breaks, including pointing out drinking fountains and restrooms. She was knowledgeable, charming, and funny. We had a blast! Oh, and our daughter killed it in the points competition- winning “prizes” of a pen, magnet, and candy. A wonderful way to experience Pompei!

This was an excellent Tour!!!!!!!!! We loved our tour guide Maria. She made us feel so special and kept my son age 11 fully engaged. I would give this Tour - 10 Stars if I could!!! She also gave a small gift to my son. Would recommend this tour!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What really made this tour was our guide, Fiorenza. After a week in Italy, our 5 and 8 year old daughters were getting a bit tired and bored. They immediately perked up when Fiorenza told them our tour was a game where they could earn points and prizes! Fiorenza's questions were relevant, interesting, and age-appropriate for teaching and engaging the girls and the adults on the tour. And she had some really sweet prizes for them. In addition, Viator was great in accommodating a schedule change for us at the last minute so that we didn't have to tour Pompeii in the pouring rain. Easy to book, communicate with them, and prompt response.

The tour was great! Loretta was informative and great with the kids. She created a contest kids ca adults so the everyone was really into the tour. We even went to the garden of the fugitives.
