We had an incredible 2-hour tour of Pompeii with an incredible guide, Clelia. She customized our tour to what we wanted to see most, made the ruins of Pompeii come alive for our 10-year-olds with captivating short vignettes, and answered the myriad questions from both kids and adults in a way that held everyone’s interest and attention. After the tour was over, she recommended a path for us to follow within and outside of this archeological wonder. 10/10 tour guide (and tour)!
We had an absolutely amazing time touring Pompeii with our tour guide Lello. Not only was he an archaeologist and a historian, but he was an amazing teacher as well! My kids left having learned so much about Pompeii! We stopped and he taught them a few facts about what he saw, then as we continued on he'd ask them questions about what he had taught them previously, so they retained and could recall so many facts! Pompeii of course is amazing to see on its own, but If you are traveling with kids, I would 100% recommend scheduling tours with "Rome Tours for Kids", and ask for Lello if you can!
