I have always wanted to visit The Pompeii Archeological Park, and City Wonders made it happen easily and comfortably, with no line! Seeing the ruins first hand was incredible, like taking a step back in time. The architecture and artifacts of the early Roman's is mind blowing.
Francesco was amazing! His knowledge of Pompei was so vast; we should have booked a 4 hr tour! We’ve been there three times before but we learned February is definitely a preferable time!
We got on the bus right outside our hotel and were in Pompeii in less than an hour. The guide was first-class - interesting, helpful and funny and the tour was excellent. Had we been in Naples longer we might have preferred the whole-day version but this fitted in really well.

<p>This tour through CityWonders was organized and efficient, two attributes I highly value. A large group was escorted from Rome to meet us in Naples, then we were all divided into small groups of 10 -12 when we got to Pompeii. Our guide was native to Pompeii, an archaeologist, and she walked as she explained the layout and some history to us not much standing around. We saw everything that a longer tour would see, except the amphitheater. This express tour was great for us first-timers now we have a sense of what to see if we ever make it back there.</p>
<p>Lovely compact tour of Pompeii - the guide was knowledgeable and we saw quite a lot in the time. 2 hours is really not enough to do Pompeii justice - I would have loved to also see the arena and the new villa, but there's only so much one can fit into 2 hours.</p>
