Duomo Milano. Our guide was very engaging and informative. The tour was a good pace only hampered by the start of an evening service. However it was still a wonderful experience
A great tour of the history of the : Duomo. Our guide was pleasant and informative . She made the duomo come to life for us
We had a wonderful tour! Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the architecture, art and history of the cathedral. We learned so much. Being able to bypass a long line was a nice perk!
Paid alot of money for this tour. Couldn't find the tour guide in the hoards of people that day. Temperature was at 36 degrees and very uncomfortable. I notice that guides are not easily identifiable in Italy and no one called me. The information person at the Cathedral was useless too. I am a good customer of Viator but after this trip, I will be changing where I book my tours. Utterly frustrating and disappointing. In the end after some jumping up and down from me, we got inside and viewed on our own. Next time no guides.
Daniel was an excellent tour guide. Engaged us w our observations. Had a nice pace as we moved thru the Duomo, did a great job of answering questions, especially for the non-Catholics in the group. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour is just right, one hour. Very interesting facts were shared, found the guide was well focused, and clear in his presentation.
The guide staff arrived at least 15–20 minutes late, leaving us waiting in the designated area without any prior notice or communication. Since the staff were carrying the entry tickets, we had no option but to repeatedly call them to determine their whereabouts. No apology or acknowledgement of the delay was offered upon arrival. As per the original schedule, we were supposed to visit the Museum first, followed by the Duomo. However, due to the late arrival of the staff, the itinerary had to be altered and we ended up wasting nearly 40 minutes loitering around the area until the Duomo guided tour commenced. Consequently, we were forced to visit the Museum afterwards, despite the Museum and Duomo tickets being part of a combined timed experience. During the tour itself, the guide was repeatedly interrupted by other guides and operators attempting to add additional people to the group despite there being no capacity to accommodate them. While the guide firmly refused these requests, the constant interruptions disrupted the flow and continuity of the tour, resulting in a fragmented, patchy, and at times difficult-to-follow experience. In addition, the audio equipment was of very poor quality. The reception was crackly and inconsistent, and we frequently missed portions of the guide’s explanations and commentary. If one moved even 5–6 feet away from the guide, the audio would cut out almost completely, making it extremely difficult to properly follow the tour in a crowded environment. Overall, the organization, coordination, and technical arrangements fell well below expectations for what was presented as a professionally managed guided tour.
Tour provider canceled our tour for “logistical reasons” less than 24 hours before it was scheduled. They offered a tour for the next day which didn’t work for our itinerary; or a $25 more expensive tour for the same day that included the options we can’t utilize.
Detailed tour of the duomo, the guide was great! Was really handy being able to skip the line too. Recommend if you’re in Milan and a bit short on time!
Excellent guide, very knowledgeable and shared great information about the important relic over the altar!
