First time visit to see train layouts

Easy to find. Good value. Great for children and adult. Large train layouts. Café and shop. Interactive with buttons to press around the layouts.

No interest

The person in the store didn't even look up, he stayed on his phone.

Miniature train in the spotlight!

The museum is large, on several levels in the basement of a building near the Andel metro station ( yellow line ). In addition to a large railway network, with an area being expanded, there are other games ( Igracek, lego, ...) and activities ( Merkur ), driving simulators, model making. It is a rather pleasant place to discover.

Interestless, bland, charmless

The mistake of our trip to Prague! A very disappointing place. From the entrance, quite "gawky" place in the basement of a shopping center. There are actually very few miniature trains, even more like a museum whose purpose is to look for the few trains. A few animations are supposed to go off with buttons... but more than half were out of Service. We quickly cut short our visit, there was nothing to see.

Brilliant place for young...

Brilliant place for young and old. It was incredible to see all the railway layouts and to see such a huge one with so much detail. I would definitely return as they were adding more to the large layout.

Huge display of miniature trains and hands on experiences for children

We already visited a similar museum home in Bucharest but this one was on a whole different level. There is plenty to see and do for at least 2-3 hours. Perfect activity on a rainy day.

Children spent a full day (9...10 hours) with a huge interest

Please, do not forget to take a food At second, do not forget to eat there in a middle if a day At third, much earlier - much better. About 35...40 attractions, which swallow You and Your sapling completely per 10...60 minutes. Between them: - a real cabin if old-s-cool bus (with a helm sized as an orbit of Mars) - a real cabin of metro thain - a real tramway bus - with system ,,open door - close door" - several rooms with child metal and plastic constructors (installations of plates with bolts and nuts) - auto-rally track (big....no - BIG!) - dynamo-speed track (You must rotate a dynamo wheel for produce a power for Your car, which races a track) - models of trains in size. - real natural sitting places at old -school transport. Old plane chair, old steam-vagon chair etc - something which we did not watch during a day.... Strictly recommend for visit. Minus: very difficult to found in Prague. A simple glass door betweer hundreds of similar doors. Check a place, and be optimistic.

A fantastic world

a fantastic world for young and old. However, there is no translation of all the panels explaining the various attractions, they are all in Czech.

Great place but full of rude parents...

I had a very good opinion about Czechs and Prague until I visited this place with my family. I visited different places for children around Europe, but this was a new experience. Czech parents allow their children to occupy the bus simulator for over 20 minutes, and they don't bother that there is a queue behind them. Parents, usually fathers, behave like bodyguards and block other kids. When my daughter was tired of waiting and tried to approach the bus driver's seat, that kid's father pushed her away. When my husband pointed it out and told him that this ogre could not do that, then this awful guy started to be verbally abusive towards us—in front of his children. We heard a famous Czech welcome phrase, which is @F... you! Unfortunately, no one reacted. Apparently, for other parents, a typical reaction is a lack of reaction. Nothing has changed in the Czech mentality for over 80 years. We couldn't spot anyone from the staff. Maybe one lady who was a lady from the souvenir shop but looked like she had a bad day, too. We avoided confrontation with this tacky family and decided to visit the lower level. We probably spent over half an hour there. We then went back to this bus simulator and spotted the same people we had seen before. If Czech parents don't teach their children to share, apparently, the owner of this place should do that! Please put a big plate in Czech with the information that one child can sit the seat in both simulators for a limited time, for example, 10 minutes. After this awful day, we will never come back to Prague or come here again. It's not worth it!

Do not live up to its advertised information

This do not live up to its webpage good advertising, almost al buttons , except sound , is not working properly or its missing items on the tracks. Some tracks not work at all . At the open playable areas for kids own entertainment is really really kept to a minimum,2-3 kids and it’s a fight over the items. For this entrance fee I was expecting a well maintained and more interacting place for the kids .. AS it is advertised to be ! Short, am sorry to say it’s not at all worth the money for the entrance fee . Take your kids some place else.
