We will pick you up at your accommodation anywhere in Prague between 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. depending on your selected Tour Option.
You'll drive through the Hrensko village - a gate to the national park during each Tour Option.
Our lunch break features a top-rated regional restaurant, often praised by guests as surpassing Prague's culinary offerings. Savour authentic Czech cuisine, freshly prepared with local ingredients. The menu caters to all, offering vegetarian, vegan, and meat dishes. Select a main course and a drink, à la carte style. Glide along the river in a tranquil gondola-style boat, capturing the picturesque wooden cabin on camera. This easy and family-friendly excursion is perfect for a memorable day out.
*DEPENDS ON SELECTED TOUR OPTION* Experience Europe's largest natural sandstone arch, the Pravcicka Gate. This 3 miles hike, taken at a moderate pace, leads to breathtaking cliffside viewpoints near the Gate. Enjoy stunning views of the arch itself. A moderate level of hiking effort is needed.

Each Tour Option will take you to the Saxon Switzerland National Park to see the Bastei bridge - our primary stop in this national park.

Marvel at the surrounding table mountains, the Elbe River canyon below, and explore the medieval ruins of Neurathen Castle, adding depth to your visit. Located in Saxon Switzerland National Park, this experience is easy and accessible.
*DEPENDS ON SELECTED TOUR OPTION* Old Town Exteriors visit. Zwinger, Frauenkirche, Albertinum etc. Plus then one hour free time or interior visit.
*NOVEMBER TO MARCH ONLY (Winter Term Itinerary)* Known as the backdrop for the Chronicles of Narnia film, the Tisá Rocks are a breathtaking maze of sandstone towers and passageways, offering expansive views. As one of Czechia's most beloved natural sites, and our personal favorite, it promises an enchanting and fairly easy adventure.
After exploring 2 or 3 sites (based on your Tour Option) and enjoying a midday lunch, we'll ensure a safe and memory-filled return to Prague. We typically arrive back to Prague between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., depending on the season and sites visited.

This is a must tour for anyone visiting Czech, even on a short period of time. Many movies have been shot in the locations you will see. It is very picturesque. Thanks to our incredible guide Vojta for the wonderful experience. He’s very thoughtful, and so well informed of the locations he showed us. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 5 star experience.
What a somewhat hidden gem. Four of us on Islay for Scotch decided on a round the last day there. It was a sure pleasure as the course is amazing. Challenging, but inviting and manicured perfectly. Strong recommendation. Restaurant is also solid.
This was a great day trip from Prague. Prague is an amazing place but it was so nice to get out of the city and see the Czech countryside. Our guide Tony was very knowledgeable about the area and made the trip both fun and interesting. Views from the Bastei Bridge are stunning. Highly recommend this trip with Northern Hikes. Prompt, organized, wonderful guide made this a fantastic day outside the city

From pick to treking to Germany it was perfect the lunch was awesome. The guide Mr Tomas was just toooooo good I am recovering from fracture he took care of me like an angel I hv no words to express my gratitude I pray he does very well in life , I highly recommend him as an guide and driver he reached us safely back and forth.

We very much enjoyed our day with Tomas. What an awesome tour guide! The hike to the Gorge was beautiful, and the boat ride at the bottom was short but fun. Make sure you bring good shoes for slippery steps. Tomas took us to a wonderful lunch in the village nearby. The Bastei bridge was incredible. We’re so glad we went on this excursion!
Give Tomas all the stars! Excursion was wonderful. Our guide Tomas picked us up promptly, was kind and informative, and very caring. One of the women in our group has a mobility issue after recovering from an injury and we have renamed him Saint Thomas for the incredible patience he showed. The hike was beautiful and we enjoyed the boat ride in the gorge. We also had a wonderful lunch in the village prior to seeing the Bastei Bridge. We highly recommend this tour! Make sure you bring shoes that are appropriate for hiking steep stairs up and down.
Vojta was very friendly and made everyone comfortable. Shared interesting information about the places we visited and the places that we passed on the road. Felt like a friend as well as a guide. 5/5 would recommend this experience.
