Itinerary
Meeting Point: Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at 09:00 AM. From there, you’ll head together to the ticket booth to purchase your temple pass, or you can also choose to buy it online in advance. Note: The Angkor Archaeological Park entrance ticket is not included in the tour price.
Angkor Thom – South Gate: After you purchase your temple pass, your tour begins at the magnificent South Gate of Angkor Thom. This impressive entrance features giant smiling stone faces and marks the gateway to the ancient walled city.
Bayon Temple – The Temple of Smiling Faces: Continue your journey through Angkor Thom with a visit to the remarkable Bayon Temple, located at the very heart of the ancient city. Famous for its towering structures adorned with more than 200 serene, smiling faces, Bayon is one of Cambodia’s most iconic and photogenic temples. Its intricate bas-reliefs and mystical atmosphere make it an unforgettable highlight of the tour.
Baphuon – The Temple Mountain: Continue to the impressive Baphuon Temple, a towering pyramid-style monument once referred to as the “Tower of Bronze.” Built in the 11th century and originally dedicated to Shiva, Baphuon is one of the most important temple-mountains of the Angkor period. Its steep terraces and grand scale offer an excellent glimpse into early Khmer engineering and religious architecture.
Terrace of the Elephants – Royal Viewing Platform: Stroll along the impressive Terrace of the Elephants, a 350-meter-long ceremonial platform once used by King Jayavarman VII to watch royal parades and public celebrations. The terrace is richly adorned with detailed carvings of elephants, garudas, and mythical creatures, offering a vivid glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Khmer ceremonies.
Terrace of the Leper King – A Mysterious Legacy: A short walk from the Terrace of the Elephants, you’ll find the Terrace of the Leper King. Named after a moss-covered statue, it is thought to represent either Yama, the god of death, or a Khmer king who suffered from leprosy.
Ta Prohm – The Jungle Temple: Step into a cinematic scene at Ta Prohm, one of Angkor’s most atmospheric and iconic temples. Famously featured in Tomb Raider, this 12th-century Buddhist monastery has been left largely in its natural state, with massive silk-cotton and strangler fig trees intertwining with the crumbling stone structures, creating a dramatic “lost in the jungle” atmosphere.
Lunch (not included). Enjoy a Cambodian meal at a nearby restaurant recommended by your guide.
Angkor Wat – The Crown Jewel of Cambodia: Continue your tour with a visit to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and the iconic centerpiece of the Angkor complex. Built in the early 12th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, it later became a revered Buddhist site — a spiritual and architectural masterpiece that continues to captivate visitors today.
Phnom Bakheng – Sunset Over Angkor: Conclude your day with a magical experience at Phnom Bakheng, a hilltop temple offering one of the most breathtaking sunset views in Angkor. Built in the late 9th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, it once served as the state temple of King Yasovarman I.
Return to your hotel in Siem Reap after a day of discovery. Your guide and driver will ensure a comfortable transfer back, bringing your temple adventure to a relaxing close. For the sunset option, the tour concludes at approximately 18:30, followed by hotel drop-off.

It was a very satisfying tour with the response of our guide Chum. The cold oshibori service after the tour was great.
Mr. Chhun, a Japanese guide, was very charming and charming. Without having lived in Japan, her conversation skills are amazing. I was surprised by the wealth of information about Angkor Wat. He also explains the history that can be learned from the mural one by one. You can see that he studied a lot. This time I went sightseeing in Tuk-Tuk for a private tour for two couples, but I was thrilled with this service because the driver served me a 300cc plastic bottle that cooled every time I went back to the car and a chilled buttock with the scent of lemongrass, which is irresistible to Japanese people, four times in total! I'm also a good photographer. Finally, I got to the hill early (there are restrictions on entry and there are places to take up, so it seems like I need to go early), and since it was going to rain, I gave up waiting for a few hours, and they took me to a recommended foot massage shop, and they responded to my private requests. Actually, I lived in Thailand now, but the foot like the stick that I was the best among the massages that I received so far and walked all day became light, and the husband who usually disliked massage was surprised. Thank you very much, Chhun, who continues to work as a guide almost every day in the sun!
Guide and driver were so helpful, it made for a fantastic day out. Really interesting, great local knowledge, would certainly recommend.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that your guide and driver made your day enjoyable and informative. We’ll share your kind words with them and hope to welcome you back for another great experience in the future!
The transportation, cold water and cool towels were wonderful. While we enjoyed seeing the temples we didn't enjoy the "locker room humor" of and somewhat crude remarks that made our whole family uncomfortable. We spent more time listening to history and stories than exploring and seeing the temples. There were 3 times where we were listening to 45 min history lectures before being able to continue on with our tour many times not even in view of a temple. This continued even after we asked to be able to see more and hear less. This is not the tour to take if you have children and want to spend time exploring Angkor Wat.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the transportation, cold water, and refreshing towels. At the same time, we are truly sorry to learn that parts of the guiding style did not match your expectations, especially as you were traveling with your family. Our guides aim to provide historical and cultural context to help visitors better understand Angkor; however, this should always be balanced with guests’ preferences and comfort. We take comments about inappropriate humor and pacing very seriously, as this is not the standard we expect from our team. Unfortunately, without details about the tour date or guide, it is difficult for us to review this internally and take corrective action. We would genuinely appreciate it if you could contact us directly with more information, so we can better understand the situation and ensure future guests have an experience tailored to their needs—especially families with children. Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us improve our service. Kind regards, Vamos Cambogia Turismo
My family took part on 12/31. I had a good time with Chun's guide! I felt great professionalism and integrity from Mr. Chun. They were also very resourceful in responding to the situation at the time. I had a good time learning a lot from the ruins to the current situation in Cambodia. (Mr. Chun, he was really knowledgeable!) And he's good at taking pictures!! It takes a lot of good pictures♪ The whole family is so grateful. Please come to Japan sometime~!!! Thank you for the wonderful time!!

In addition to my first visit to Angkor Wat, I also had a luxurious trip to two other historic sites, which was a great tour with good weather. In particular, our guide Shosho (Junjun for Japanese) is not only amiable, but also a wonderful person who is very kind to us about history, buildings and even photo spots Please take advantage of it and enjoy it!
Mr. Chhieun Kim Chhun guided us It was an eight-hour course through Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Taplom. The guide is fluent in Japanese, sometimes with puns, and the explanations touching on history and tradition were very easy to understand and fun The water and cold oshibori service was great. This is a recommended guide when you go to Angkor Wat by all means
The tour in Siem Reap was great. Our Visal guide was already waiting for us in the hotel hall at the time we met to pick us up with a car and take us to Angkor. He told us many details and curiosities of both the temples and the history of Cambodia, all in perfect Spanish. Highly recommended!
Very professional and service minded guide, with pick up and respite at the hotel. Booked Angkorwat with sunrise. Very pleased. Highly recommend Serey Youk Kim fully.
After you decide whether to charter your own tuk tuk to see Angkor Wat, or go sightseeing with a Japanese guide, I asked this one. The guide is Mr. Chun-Chung, fluent in Japanese. Daytime Angkor Thom, Taprom, Angkor Wat and Phnom Ba Khen sunset. They not only looked at the ruins but also guided us through the history and the meaning of the sculptures in the ruins, and since we were sightseeing in the hot sun, they also prepared cold water and oshibori - great. It is more meaningful than just seeing the ruins without knowing what they mean. They also take beautiful photos in exquisite photo spots, which has increased the number of good memories! Not only are we able to talk about the stuffy stuff of history, but we can also have private fun while we're on the move, I was very satisfied with the day. Mr. Chun-chung. Thank you very much.
