7:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Early departure gets us to Banteay Srei practically alone. But first, we meet contemporary Cambodia. 8:30 AM - Local artisans demonstrate traditional palm cake making using techniques passed down through generations. You'll smell caramelizing sap before seeing the process—sweet, smoky aromas as they stir massive woks over wood fires. Timing determines everything: too early lacks sweetness, too late crystallizes wrong. This supports local livelihoods directly. You'll taste the results: chewy, coconut-infused cakes in banana leaves, perfect with morning coffee.
Enjoy a guided tour to explore the famous Banteay Srei, a unique temple distinguished by its stunning carvings, which are among the finest in Cambodia.
Ascend to the top of Kulen Mountain and take in spectacular views at the cliff of Poeng Ta Kho.
Visit the largest reclining Buddha sculpture on the top of Kulen Mountain
Witness the River of Thousand Linga, which was constructed in 802 AD.
enjoy a picnic at a nearby waterfall, where you can savor grilled chicken with seasonal fruits and swim in the refreshing waters.

Makara was an excellent tour guide. The service of Jan and Leap is amazing. Jan described the history detailedly, just like brings us back to the past of empire. The cold towel and cold water service from Leap is the best to save our heating body in such hot season. We appreciated the excellent service from them. Booked after good online rating the trip was great value for money. We all were women solo travellers and guide Mr August and driver Mr Paal were very helpful and made us comfortable. They ensured we were well fed, hydrated and safe throughout the day. All visits were well timed, great picture spots and safe and comfortable. Highly recommended for solo or groups.

Absolutely recommended tour! The visit to Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea, and Mount Kulen was one of the most beautiful experiences of the trip.
