Itinerary
This is where we meet for our public street art tours
We walk to Brick Lane (NOT the police station) via side streets to look at many locations where we see street art, some low down, some up high, some small bronze castings, some huge murals 3 stories tall.
The tour continues heading up into Shoreditch where we continue to explore the latest in the ever changing display of street art and graffiti. Luckily as the guide is totally immersed in the culture and specialises only in this subject, not only does the guide know where to find the art but will be able to identify, interpret and explain the street art, even brand new stuff that might only be minutes or hours old

The Shoreditch tour was truly fascinating and highly engaging. The artists are deeply committed to political and environmental causes, and their work powerfully addresses pressing global issues. They not only denounce war and injustice but also confront a wide range of social taboos with remarkable honesty and courage. It is an eye-opening experience to observe how art can be used as a medium for activism and reflection, making the tour both thought-provoking and deeply compelling.
Dear Piroulette - thank you for your wonderful appreciation of the art content in our street art tour, it is a delight to hear in your feedback that you found the work thoought provoking and compelling - Dave
I bring a group of Year 12 Geography students to do this tour every year. We do it to look at representation of place through street art as part of the Changing Places topic and our focus is Shoreditch and Brick Lane. The tour is fantastic. We have had 3 different guides over the years, all unique and all equally good. Their knowledge of the street art is phenomenal and they all seem as enthused as we are. Highly recommended, which is why we just keep coming back!
Dear Helen, it is always a pleasure to have you and your remarkable pupils on the tour,. John, Mali and I are all delighted that you appreciate our tour and that we all manage to reach the benchmark standard set by the others - I certainly look up to John and Mali as superb practitioners and educators. Thank you for taking the time to provide this wonderful feedback
Our tour giude, Dave Stewart, was very well prepared and knew a lot of interesting stories and background information about the artists he presented. It was a wonderful walk and experience, also for my teenage daughter!
Dear Kirsten, it ws a great pleasure to have yourself and your daughter on the tour last weekend. Thank you very much for taking the time to write this lovely review, really appreciataed, Dave
We had a blast! With Dave as our tourguide we saw and heared things about street art we would absolutely not see or find for ourselves. Very much tailored to our group. Flexible in time and route. And so so many fabulous art pieces and artists. From piece more than 20 years old, to pieces sprayed only days before. And all with ‘background stories’ and personal anekdotes of a street art fan. It was amazing. Thanks Dave!
Hi Menno - it was fablous to be your guide on a very bespoke tour in celebration of your friend's imminent wedding celebration. Thank you very much for providing this lovely report - Dave
Dave, our guide, gave the group excellent understanding of each part of art. I am truly surprised, delighted, at the amount of street art in and around e Shoreditch.
Dear Dennis, thank you for your kind remarks, it is a real pleasure that what we show can cause surprise and delight. Dave
What an amazing tour! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a morning filled with the vibrancy and fascinating history of street art in London! I had no idea! It was 3 hours of viewing the amazing art from David… an excellent guide and true expert knowing many of the artists personally. I loved the fact that our tour was limited to just a few of us… I think there were around 10-12 in our group, and David spent the time to get to know us personally and answer all of our questions. Definitely a must do! Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes and be prepared for standing of course.
Dear Joscelyn 1, it was a pleasure to have you on the tour last weekend, thank you for your wonderful comments and tips for future guests, i am grateful for you taking the time to post - Dave

Dear Arun, thank you very much for taking the time to give such a lovely generous review, it is always a pleasure to hear the tour highly praised, Dave
Dave is fully immersed in the graffiti art in this local region. From Banksy to DFace to Stick, you will learn the street’s celebrities and its supportive yet competitive grit, the constantly evolving layer upon layer of voices through artistic expression; everything from whimsy to political protest, these voices encourage you to find your inner voice, too. Dave is a vibrant soul who shares stories, street lore, and the evolution of this art form. Excellent tour.
Dear Fabulous Travels, thank you very much for sharing your wonderful appreciation of our tour, it was a pleasure to meet you - Dave
A simply brilliant Street Art Tour - Dave has clearly been immersed in this scene for years but is so relatable in how he talks about the art - I saw the streets differently after the tour
