Departure from Le Havre to Mont-Saint-Michel, journey time 2h30
After your arrival in Mont-Saint-Michel, our driver will drop you off at the official parking lot located at the entrance of the site. From there, access to the island is exclusively pedestrian or via the official shuttles, vehicles are prohibited on the bridge. You will board a free shuttle that will take you in about 20 minutes to the foot of Mont-Saint-Michel. This trip is the perfect opportunity to admire the changing landscapes of the bay before discovering the majestic island.
After your arrival at the foot of the Mount, let yourself be captivated by the medieval atmosphere of this unique UNESCO World Heritage Village. Here are some suggestions to optimize your visit: Visit the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Its cloister, refectory and panoramic views of the bay are absolutely worth a visit. ️ Stroll through the cobblestone streets lined with shops, museums and small inns. The atmosphere is magical, between legend and history. Take a gourmet break: try the famous omelette of the Mother Pocket or specialties of the sea in one of the typical restaurants. Explore the ramparts for breathtaking views, especially at high tide.
A jewel of medieval architecture, the Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel is the historical and spiritual heart of the island. Perched on top of the rock, it offers a spectacular panorama of the entire bay and transports visitors through more than a thousand years of history. Thanks to your entrance tickets included in the tour, you will have direct access to this iconic site without unnecessary waiting. On the way back, you will take this same shuttle from the foot of the island to the parking lot. Your driver will be waiting for you at the same initial drop-off point, to ensure a comfortable return trip without waiting.

Pickup Locations & Times
From the cruise terminal in Le Havre or Honfleur, please stay inside the terminal, near the main gate, without going far away. Our driver will meet you there with a sign, either in your name or bearing the logo of our company MyCruise Excursion. The vehicle will be parked in the nearby private driver’s car park, but will not be able to enter the terminal. A WhatsApp group is set up for your excursion to ensure good coordination. Please download the WhatsApp app before your arrival. If you do not have a mobile internet connection, please inform us in advance by email, so that we can arrange an alternative contact. The departure time can be adjusted according to logistical constraints or changes in the cruise schedule. Please check your emails or WhatsApp messages the day before the tour, where a confirmation or reminder will be sent. For guests staying at the hotel, please come to the reception desk of your hotel at the time indicated during the call back sent the day before. The driver will pick you up at this particular location.

- The journey will depart from Le Havre. You will have a 2.5 hour journey to get to Mont-Saint-Michel where you will stay for a 5 hour visit. You will visit the citadel, the Grande Rue, the Abbey, admire the high tides, taste a local specialty... You will have 2.5 hours for the return journey.

Guide did not speak English. Our tickets for the tour were 1 to 3 We had to be back at parking spot by 315. Line to tour was long and they did not share wee to get tour. There was another area for different tour. Guide should’ve parked or dropped us off closer to times were not conducive with time allotted for trip. It was a very expensive uber Guide should’ve shared info during drive. Worst tour I’ve ever taken.

While we provide transportation and entry tickets, guests explore Mont Saint-Michel at their own pace. That said, we absolutely understand how important it is for all details to be clear and accessible, especially for ticketed experiences with timed entry. Regarding the Abbey visit, it’s true that during peak times, the line to enter can be long, and it’s essential to arrive at the entrance well before the ticketed time, as delays caused by the shuttle, walking time from the parking area, or crowds can impact entry. Even arriving early to the general area may still lead to challenges if guests reach the Abbey entrance after the ticketed time slot. As for the drop-off point, due to logistical limitations and local regulations around Mont Saint-Michel, drop-offs must occur at the designated shuttle area. Unfortunately, vehicles are not allowed to go closer to the entrance unless pre-arranged for accessibility purposes. We truly regret that the communication may not have been clearer, and your feedback is being shared internally so we can better highlight all these details in our descriptions and guest instructions. We had a very nice vehicle and an extremely accommodating driver (bathroom break and snacks stops)! This is strictly transportation to mont saint michel (ticket to abbey included) but extremely well coordinated and comfortable
