All very well, we really enjoyed the tour, the accommodations and the food. The shuttle service and the service very nice. Unfortunately, we could not know the places scheduled on the first day, due to a problem on the snow track which took us 700km, spending the whole day by car. Another point, the day of return from the desert if you would ideally take more time to enjoy the camp during the morning before leaving, all in a hurry. More generally, we are very happy, thank you! Recommended:)
It was a really nice tour. We made a lot of stops and beautiful places and our tour guide Abdelghani was the best. He was so Kind, told us a lot about the places we visited, and was always looking out for us. We had a lot of fun with the group and the three days were amazing.
So much more done and seen than we thought. We had private room in the desert, but it was very cold! I would recommend bringing thermal clothing to sleep in. Everything was fantastic.
We went to the desert with Rony, a great guy, always with a smile and who made you enjoy the hours in the van. I highly recommend.
The trip started with us getting picked up by a driver at our Riad. He was right on time and drove us to a meeting place where we got sorted into the bus for the trip itself. The bus itself was pretty nice and comfortable, no complaints there. Our driver however was not very skilled when it comes to communicating. Throughout the whole 3 day trip, 90% of the time he talked to us was at spots he deemed picture worthy, he stoped at the side of the road, opened the door and said "go picture 5 minutes". Those spots where nice but even a very brief explanation what it is we're looking at or where we are would've made it much better. The first proper stop was at Ait-Ben-Haddou. The tour you get is officially volunatary but while I'd say it was worth it, you're not really getting the chance to pass on it if you want to explore the place on your own. It was quite cheap though. Right after the tour you go to a restaurant for lunch. Lunch is not included and you can't choose a different place to get something. So either eat there or wait throughout the day for dinner. Just to give an idea how good lunch is, compare it to gas station meals. Pretty overpriced for underwhelming food. Next stop would've been in the rose valley. Since there are no roses blooming at that time of the year, that stop was skipped. Unfortunately without any announcement so sompe of us kept wondering throughout the rest of the trip if we'd get there eventually. Like I said, our driver was quite a bad communicator. That first night we spent in a pretty bad hotel. While the included dinner and breakfast was alright(ish), the room wasn't. It was freezing cold, moldy, hot water wasn't working and I'm not too sure if they clean rooms after every guest. The second day we drove towards the dessert. While lunch on that day was compareable to the one on the first day (expensive, underwhelming and no possibility for an alternative), there was not too mcuh to talk about since the day consisted of driving mostly. The end of the day, when we arrived at the Merzouga dessert, we had to wait for an hour without knowing what we're waiting for exactly before we were put on a pickup to go see the sunset. Right after that, we took our camel ride to the dessert tent camp where we had a great night. At the morning of the third day we returned by camels to our driver who dropped us of at the side of a road where we got into a taxi that got us to Fes. As this part of the trip was again only driving, there is not really anything to talk about. tl,dr: Lunch on day 1 and 2 expensive and not good, driver wouldn't talk unless it was complaints, the night in the dessert was great and we got to our destination right on time as promissed.
We made the 3-day desert tour from Fez to Marrakech with Said’s company, who in addition to driving the car, took care of showing us every corner and detail of the places we were with much kindness and dedication, making the trip a life experience. It gave us the opportunity to delve into the history and culture of Morocco, get to know some of its people and traditions. Without a doubt, a great person and excellent professional. I recommend anyone going to Morocco to take the tour with him. They don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful this experience was at their side. Exceptional!
Everything was amazing and largely to our driver and guide SAID. Great trail mate.explained everything
Amazing trip!!! We had a wonderful time in the desert. The guide was very friendly and seeing the sinset over the sanddunes was unforgettable.
It was one of the most beautiful experiences ever, to be done strictly in a group, also because there are many tourists from different places in the world, discovering a fantastic country, with super helpful people for any need and available, definitely one of my best experiences ever!
It was a great tour for those who have a very limited time (We only have 10days) in Morocco but it could be a tiring journey too. However with good companion and a great driver it would be smooth journey for you. My husband enjoyed the trip a lot and for a first timer travelling with shared group like this I kinda feel a bit tired of stopping here and there. There will be guides at certain places so spare small change. One of the guide is a bit pushy too but overall it was a great experience at the desert 🐪. Well recommended trip but if u have time, I suggest to spend a little bit of time at the desert so it won’t be a rush or tiring journey. Most of all our driver Mr Abdelghani is a great driver! Thank you 😊
