Knowledgeable guide, good mix of history and info on contemporary China, excellent care of travelers - adequate breaks with facilities; stops in the shade. Highly recommended.
We were a group of 5 friends. Very good explanation from Celina and a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for people who want to learn about the city and its history.
Dinna was amazing. And the tour super interesting and comprehensive!!
Cindy was brilliant. It's a long tour at 4.5 hours but didn't feel that long. Great lunch stop for some street food. Highly recommended. Cindy booked us into the French Concession tour but that got cancelled the day before because of rain.
This tour was wonderful! I was only in Shanghai for 3 days so I wanted to be able to experience the best sightseeing places without having to plan any of it myself and this tour accomplished that and more! Dinna our guide was amazing and she made the 4 hours pass in a flash. She also gave us great recommendations for food, other sightseeing spots, and rooftop bars which I really appreciated. She also gave us a booklet with places she recommended too. We had plenty of stops for bathroom breaks, snacks, water, and pictures. I cannot recommend this tour enough, thank you Dinna!!
Raven took us to so many places and told stories of how Shanghai came to be an international city from a fishing village. She had photos to show what it was like before so you could really get a feel for the changes. She was engaging and talked about the current ways of life putting it into context. She took us to several little food stalls to get the most delicious local foods. A really engaging, informative 5 hours because everyone had so many questions. I will do their other tour as well.
Very interesting tour with Dinna who thought us the history of Shanghai with a little touch of her own life. She was always smiling
Raven was our tour guide , made the adventure interactive, was a good experience as a solo traveller
Raven was our tour guide, she was very knowledgeable on the history of China! Some old before photos helped set the foundation of how quick the mega city had been built. Being a solo traveller the tour was fun to meet other travellers, four hours didn't even seem long was nice exercise with 10k + steps
it was whole lot of fun. dinna was very energetic and brought us to see something unusual -- the matchmaking market on weekends. she showed us the significant buildings in shanghai, and told us their histories. she had maps and pictures as visual aids. a great way to get to know shanghai. highly recommended!
