I created this tour for my vegetarian family visiting from abroad, who struggled to figure out what they could safely eat in Seoul’s markets. I spent over a month in Gwangjang Market before my family came, checking ingredients and talking with each cook until I mapped a route for vegetarians. Since guiding my family, I kept researching and fine-tuning the route. Every stop is now fully plant-based, so both vegetarians and vegans can join with confidence. I handle all ordering and translation, so you can simply enjoy the food and stories. Important note: Gwangjang is a busy working market; some cross-contact or cross-contamination may occur, and the tour is not suitable for strict gluten-free diets or food allergies.

One of the best food tours I’ve ever done! It was absolutely perfect for vegans. We got to try so many different Korean dishes, and honestly, every single one was delicious. The tour also included drinks, including Korean alcohol, and amazing desserts. If you’ve always wanted to experience authentic Korean cuisine but thought being vegan would make that difficult, this tour is a must. The guide speaks excellent, clear English, making everything easy to understand and enjoyable. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this tour. Don’t miss it!

Had an amazing time on this tour! Jungho went out of his way to create a completely vegan tour of classic Korean cuisine! This was a fantastic vegetarian tour of the market, and Jungho was an amazing guide! It can be difficult to find reliably vegetarian food in Seoul, and Jungho put together an incredible variety of food and drinks that were delicious and you didn’t have to wonder if they were ok to eat. This food tour was amazing! Even as a meat eater, I highly recommend it 😊 My wife is vegetarian, so finding authentic Korean food for her in Seoul was tough, but this tour changed all that. This was a fantastic experience! Learning where and what you can eat as a vegetarian in Korean was very helpful. Our guide Jungho was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and kept the whole group engaged. I was stuffed and satisfied by the end of the tour!

We spent 2 very memorable hours with Jungho at the night market. We were a group of 7 people, which didn’t feel too big. Every dish we tried was amazing, with nice stories about korean culture and its connection to the food. We felt in good hands and there was a lot of attention to detail, it was organized great and we managed to do a lot without being rushed at any point. I would highly recommend this tour to vegans/vegetarians that want to eat some street food without being worried about it :)

Amazing tour on the food market in Seoul. He picked such nice local vegan food in a city that is serving a lot of meat focused dishes. The guide has a very nice energy as well. Food was super delicious. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I are vegetarian and wanted to experience seouls street food scene, but between dietary restrictions and language barrier, this would have been quite difficult to navigate on our own. Fortunately Jungho’s vegetarian tour was available and navigated us through Gwangjang market and we couldn’t have done it without him. He was super kind and knowledgeable and made sure everyone in the group was enjoying their time. He spent his own time and money building relationships with vendors in the markets.
