Itinerary
Hanbok is a Korean word that refers to traditional Korean clothing. Hanbok is one of the most beautiful fashion styles in the world and has been beloved for over 2,000 years. You may have seen the hanbok in your favorite Korean drama, or your favorite K-Pop star wearing hanbok and wondered: what are they wearing? What kind of fashion style is hanbok? This is your chance to try it out!
Wearing a beautiful and luxurious hanbok, you enter Gyeongbokgung Palace as a person of the Joseon Dynasty. Become the main character of a K-drama and take photos that will be memories for a lifetime! A historical guide will explain the history of 'Gyeongbokgung Palace' and take a tour around it. Watch Korea's magnificent Gyeongbokgung Palace Changing of the Guard Ceremony! Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces.
Walk to Bukchon Hanok Village.
Explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a neighborhood filled with hanok, traditional Korean houses. Take a break time enjoying tea and yakgwa (traditional Korean dessert) at a café overlooking the view of Bukchon.
Baek In-je House in Gahoe-dong, located in Bukchon Hanok Village, is a hanok built during the Japanese administration period that portrays modern hanok features. The structure consists of a main room offering a good view of the whole village, spacious bedrooms, a large garden, and annex buildings. As it withholds the beauty of a traditional hanok while incorporating the modern trend of its time, Baek In-je House is considered to be highly valuable in means of both architecture and history, representing the Bukchon Hanok Village together with Yun Bo-seon House.

Pearl was a delight! Was able to experience a lot in a little time. There is a bit of walking so wear comfortable shoes.
Amazing tour! Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, showing us hidden gems we'd never have found alone. The pace was perfect, and we learned so much about the city's history. Highly recommend!

Landy was so lovely throughout the guided tour. She explained things very well in a story manner and kept all of us engaging in the conversation. She had great knowledge of Korean history and kept us well informed. She took us to the beautiful museum, village and obviously cafe for drinks and snacks. She was very good in English which made it easy to understand with clear instructions like where to meet. Most importantly, she took our great pictures 🙂
Lindy was an amazing guide, she was patient and kind. Her knowledge of the various locations was excellent. I would not have enjoyed it as much without her. I was a breeze from the hanbok fitting to the last stop. When she saw I was struggling, she called a bike to take us to the last stop.
Gyeongbokgung palace tour with Sheen was a great experience. He was knowledgeable about the history and we were able to watch the change of guards thanks to him getting us front row viewing. It was a hot day and he paced the group well so we ended up learning the history, taking nice pictures. The next leg to Hanok village was cool as well. The cafe at the end of the trip was great place for views.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled Sheen made your experience so memorable - getting front row for the changing of the guards is such a special moment! We love that he paced the group well even on a hot day. We hope to welcome you back to Seoul for more adventures!
