Scorpions still rock...but lower your expectations

Hoping to add my point of view to what was a great evening in celebrating a band that has stood the test of time...mostly. PH Live has an intimate feel, although the balcony was closed off on August 19th, which may have made it feel that way. Drink and merch lines moved fairly quickly, not so for the sole women's bathroom. We have been fans of the Scorpions for decades but had never seen them live. Definitely a mistake, should've done it years ago. Instrumentally, they were phenomenal, amazing. Sadly, Klaus's voice was weak, a pale version of his powerful, distinctive pipes that have led the band to distinction all these years. He left the stage numerous times, moved very stiffly and there was a lot of letting the audience take the mike. I understand he had some medical setback in the spring of this year which, along with Mikkey Dee needing to recover, caused the reschedule for August. I would like to think that this was just an off night for him, and perhaps it was. I'm puzzled by many glowing reviews I've read of the Vegas concerts. Playback of video taken that night was painful to listen to. Of course, his age has to be taken into consideration. Hoping he can turn it around...such an amazing talent, amazing band with a great legacy.

Total "Rip Off"

Like most I would have to imagine we too are avid Scorpion fans. Have seen them over the years and of course purchased multipole CD's back in the day. Wife adores the group and the music. So.... 2024 we traveled to Vegas to see them at Planet Hollywood. We has also elected to upgrade but did not do the meet and greet. This year (2025) we again traveled to Vegas but this time paid for the meet and greet. Total was close to $1800.00 for the both of us through ticket master. Let me just say that there was no "Meet" or "Greet" or any of these sort of things you would think would be considered to fall within such a category such as. Lanyards, possible backstage tour, a little socializing time, Q&A, even an autograph or two with maybe some finger foods, drinks etc. NOPE nothing of the sort. (1) picture taken by photographer that we had to download ourselves. The sale/advertisement should be stated something like: If you want to have a picture with the band her is the cost for you to down load it $1800.00 the whole experience will only take 30-60 seconds of your time. Overall, pretty sad for being such fans not to mention the other cost we had to spend just to get there, such as airfare, hotel, food, drinks, taxis and so on which in themselves have become very ridiculous in price at Vegas which is a whole other subject. Bottom Line: Just sucks and what a let down, very disappointed. I guess at this point all you can do is just shake your head. Anyways, I've attached the $1800.00 picture (lol). Guess we were the "Suckers" . However Shame, Shame on Ticketmaster, Scorpions and Planet Hollywood. So.................... "BEWARE"

Legends of Rock

The Venue at Planet Hollywood was very easy to find and well organized. The Scorpion tickets were reasonably priced. The performance was great, the sound needed some tweaking. Drums were loud, guitars too quiet.

Scorpions 2024!!

Theater is great, perfect size! We sat in the 200 section in the third row and our seats were really good. You get a full view of the stage and the screens on each side of the stage, if there are screen up for your show. If you want to be closer to the performer, sit in the 100 section. All in all, it was good. The drinks are ridiculous, $27 for a so called double alcoholic beverage and $32 for a so called triple. If you want a cocktail, drink before you go. Anyways, Scorpions ROCKED IT OUT!!! Awesome show!!! So glad we went to Vegas for this show!!!

Heartless Venue Management - AVOID THIS VENUE

We flew 2000 miles to see the Scorpions play for my 60th birthday but my son got very sick and was throwing up repeatedly and not a single Staffer came to help us despite 12 being within 50 feet of us, and we asked since we didn't get to see even one song by the Scorpions for some discount so we could afford to try a second night and the management at the Baakt theory said no discounts period and blamed it on the band (Scorpions) for the policy of no discounts.

Making it real and not a fantasy.

Wow! The Scorps brought it! Klaus's voice was still very good. Couldn't always hit the highs, but for his age, very impressive. The band was TIGHT AS EVER! Mathias and Rudolph were as great as ever. Mathias especially. They nailed every song perfectly. The newest drummer, Mickky D was killer! He brought a new life and energy to the band. The Bakt theater at Planet Hollywood was the perfect venue for them. Great acoustics, excellent visuals, and a huge stage. But not too big of a place. Quite impressed with the place. Go see these guys while you still can! The Scorpions still got it!

Acoustic Perfection

Excellent venue and almost acoustically perfect. Scorpions concert sound mixing was so good, did not need anything to protect hearing. Definitely see more shows at this venue.

Scorpions. Las Vegas residency 2024 Planet Hollywood

I'm not one to write reviews but this concert deserves one! The Scorpions were Beyond great! Absolutely mind-boggling how they can sound near album Perfect playing songs from 40 years ago. Especially considering the lead singer Klaus is 75 years old as well is Rudolf Schenker. If you're a scorpions fan this is a must see.
