All the tour was very good and seeing the Palace was amazing. Having a private tour guide help you go through the palace was definitely a plus. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the driver was very reassuring. The only negative I would say is that the entire tour was a little too rushed. I’ve done several private tours where you feel relaxed annd you are away from the crowds and you don’t have to worry about time management, and you can travel at a leisurely pace. This tour was very rushed and that I felt like it didn’t have enough time to enjoy and appreciate at my pace the surroundings. It felt like I was part of a large group tour on a big tour bus with 50 people where they are always telling to “let’s go we must all go to the next stop”. In that regard. I would recommend that they add more time and not make it more rushed when we went to the city center to see sites. We did not get to go inside any of the sites And I would’ve probably appreciated a little time perhaps in the Cathedral. I ended up going back to the same place to actually spend time in the cathedral.
Schoenbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Hapsburgs. The name means "beautiful spring". The 1,441 room Baroque palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments in the country. The history of the palace and its vast gardens spans over 300 years, reflecting the changing tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Hapsburg monarchs. Pictured here is the Palace, the gardens, the Hall of Mirrors, the Gloriette designed by Maria Teresa.
Our tour guide Brenda was exceptional. The history of Vienna she shared with us was absolutely informative and wonderful. She was friendly and easy to talk to. Our driver Johnathan was friendly and a great driver. We highly recommend this tour with them.
Hi Steve! thanks for the wonderful review and for recommending us to other travellers! We'll be happy to share your words with Brenda and Jonathan. Let us know if you'll return to Vienna in the future - we have many more great tours to offer :) Kind regards Marlies
