On the way between Prague and Passau we will stop in Cesky Krumlov. Cesky Krumlov is often referred to as the Jewel of the Southern Bohemia. It is listed as the UNESCO world heritage site. The local professional licensed guide will take you on a two hours tour of the city and the most iconic monuments. After the tour with the guide you will be exploring the city on your own for 2 hours. You can visit the castle, have lunch in one of the river-side restaurants or explore the castle gardens and the unique Baroque theater.

What a great way to get from Prague to Passau to catch our river cruise. The driver was prompt, professional, and a good driver. The vehicle was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 4 of us and our luggage. Stopping off at Cresky Krumlov was wonderful. Our guide, Silva, was so friendly and gave us so much info about the history of the town and surrounding areas. You can tell she is proud of her heritage and home. On the way from CK to Passau, be ready to see some lovely country side along and small forrest roads as there are no direct routes to Passau. The best recommendation is if you would do the same thing if given another opportunity. Simple answer, yes, hands down!
