You will be picked up from our meeting point in Santo Domingo. A comfortable, air-conditioned bus will be used for transportation. The journey from Santo Domingo to Bayahibe will take you through the beautiful Dominican countryside, passing small towns, sugar cane fields, and coastal views. Enjoy the scenic drive before reaching the port where you'll board the boat to Saona Island.
Once you arrive at the port in Bayahibe, you will board a speedboat for a scenic ride to the natural pool. During the ride, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the turquoise Caribbean waters and may even spot dolphins or other marine life.
Upon reaching the crystal-clear waters, you’ll stop at the famous Natural Pools. This shallow area is perfect for swimming and taking photos in the turquoise water. You may also see starfish and other marine life here.
You will arrive at the beach on Isla Saona, where you’ll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Typically, the meal includes local dishes such as fish, chicken, rice, salads, and tropical fruits. After lunch, you will have free time to explore the island at your own pace. You can walk along the beach, relax under the palm trees, or participate in optional activities like snorkeling, playing beach volleyball, or simply enjoying the clear waters.
The boat ride will take you back. Along the way, you’ll be able to admire the marine landscape and enjoy the Caribbean breeze. Some tours offer live music or drinks on board to make the journey more enjoyable.

AMAZING. Clear turquoise waters like in the movies…but in real life. The staff were supportive and kind, taking professional photos in the natural pool, serving good drinks and lunch providing awesome music on the good vibes boat ride from Saona back to the drop off point. Pepe was funny and welcoming of all on the boat ride and made sure all felt included. HIGHLY recommend this tour to all!
From transportation to customer service... nothing was suitable for a tourist paying to visit Santo Domingo
My family and I had a great time! Everything was taken care of and we did not have to think about anything. I recommend this activity.
The beach was amazing with calm beautiful waters! The day was just extremely long with a 6:15am pickup time and a 7:30pm drop off time. It took 1 bus and 3 boats to get us to the island and 3 boats and 1 bus to return back to Santo Domingo. All the transferring between boats is quite annoying but we did enjoy the actual catamaran ride. The buffet lunch was delicious and the drinks (rum and coke or sprite) kept flowing.
