In the cultural center of Mindelo you have the opportunity to get acquainted with several historical and contemporary art of the island and to buy a souvenir.
On normal weekdays there is a lot of movement of people buying and selling very colorful fruits and vegetables and herbs of different flavors, this is a very attractive time for the visitor.
Monte Verde is the highest point on the island and is 750m high, allowing you to offer your visitors a 360 degree panoramic view. Be amazed by the natural beauty of this island.
Salamansa is a small fishing village just outside of Mindelo, here you have the opportunity to walk a little on the white sandy beach and enjoy the waves breaking on the beach and experience the island's warm climate.

If you are on a cruise ship, we will wait for you outside the Porto Grande exit gate in Mindelo with your name on the ID 5 minutes before the scheduled time. If you are staying at the hotel, tell us the name of your hotel and we will meet you at the reception 5 minutes before the agreed time with your name on the ID.

Our knowledgeable guide and expert driver took us around the island for a fraction of cruise line costs and to more locations. We were in the mountains and on the coast. To the villages and beaches and through the town and market. The scenery was breathtaking. Nice day/tour.
We missed the chance to visit the beautiful city as our cruise ship couldn't dock the port due to bad weather conditions on 18 June 2026. However, the tour operator has timely given us a full refund which is so helpful. We will try to book another tour in Mindelo in the future if possible.

The guide was not present on the quayside with a sign with my name, as per the instructions when booking. We had to ask around to find the guide.
We signed up for an all day private tour of Sao Vicente. Our tour guide was friendly and tried but his English was weak. The 1 Day Tour turned out to be only a few hours. Also, another person was assigned to our cab and she also paid for a private tour.
Outstanding trip through town and ride up highest point. Our tour guide was very fluent in english and was very knowledgeable about the island.

Tour was okay, as was Fredy the guide. I paid $272.42 Cad. $. Only got a 4 hour tour, not a full day. All the other tours were also only four hours. Even Holland America excursions were under $100. Another van from Viator with fellow passenger paid $50 for same tour. So disappointed as I had earler recommended passengers to your company. This was a first time I was not happy.

Valeria was an excellent guide. Her English was impeccable. The trip up the mountain was exhilarating. Unfortunately, and certainly beyond anyone’s control, the Sahara sands impacted the view from the top. She was very respectful of the guests’ limitations and adapted accordingly. We saw all the sights and received detailed descriptions. Valeria was open to answer all our questions. Thanks for a great experience.

Valeria, our guide, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, humorous and her English speaking skills were amazing! She was totally responsive to our particular needs and amended the tour to our preferences while clearly giving us much historical background on the Islands.
