Santa Fe Small Group History Walking Tour In a City Different

Description
Enjoy an intimate small-group walking tour of Santa Fe, limited to just 10 guests and guided by Rebecca or Timo. Nothing compares to the interaction and conversation possible in a truly small group. This relaxed Santa Fe history walking tour explores the culture, architecture, and stories that make Santa Fe “The City Different.” Ease into the city as we stroll through historic downtown Santa Fe, visiting landmarks including Santa Fe Plaza, Loretto Chapel, San Miguel Chapel—often called the oldest church in the United States—and beautiful Sena Plaza, while discovering hidden corners many visitors miss. Learn how Native American, Spanish, and American influences shaped Santa Fe as we explore historic streets, quiet courtyards, and lesser-known sites that reveal the city’s true character. WINTER NOTE: Tours may be canceled in winter if conditions are too cold, windy, or unsafe due to ice or blizzard conditions.

Timo knows more than the law should allow! We loved the history lesson, and the short strolls. Great company! Thanks!
Clair, glad you enjoyed your morning with Timo. He mentioned how much you appreciated history and it was so nice to see you learned some history that you didn't know. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
Rebecca is an awesome tour guide and has so much information to share about Santa Fe. Recommend this walking tour if you’re visiting the city.
Thank you so much for choosing our tour and for the review.
My family and I (10 of us altogether) spent an enjoyable afternoon with Rebecca earlier this month as she walked us through the history of Santa Fe. We were up on our feet for 3 hours—walking through the Plaza, La Fonda, the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, the Miraculous Staircase...—but the time honestly flew by! Rebecca had a gentle, thoughtful way of unfolding the complicated and beautiful history of the region. And despite having done some preliminary research I walked away having learned more than I could have imagined. Even the "history-averse" members of our family loved it, which says so much about how lovely the city is, and how talented our guide.
Thank you so much for the really nice review! I truly enjoyed spending the morning with your family and what a lovely family you have. Makes me so happy to hear that even your "history-averse" family members loved it too.
Overall a simplistic approach to the history of Santa Fe. Very little information or insight that you couldn’t get from a guide book.
So sorry that the tour was not what you hoped for. It was clear that you were a lover of history by the history book full of sticky tabs that you carried. We try to tailor our tour to make it enjoyable for everyone. Our aim is to try and fit 400+ years of rather complex history into a 2-2.5 hour tour while showing our guests the most interesting locations, sharing facts and stories from history.
Guide was knowledgeable and informative. Enjoyed learning about Santa Fe.
Thanks Kate, really happy that you enjoyed our tour.
Rebecca is a wonderful guide. She has a great deal of knowledge regarding the history of Santa Fe, which really changes your perspective as you tour through the plaza area. Thanks Rebecca!
Thanks David, so glad you enjoyed the tour and taking the time to leave a review. It was a pleasure spending the morning with the 2 of you.
We had a wonderful tour with Rebecca on a beautiful Saturday morning. It was just my daughter and me. We appreciated her willingness to tour with us despite the small group. She knows Santa Fe well and is clearly passionate about history. She provided all sorts of interesting commentary throughout our 2 hour place walk around town. Do not hesitate to book this tour! It was well worth the price and time.
Thanks so much for the fabulous review. It was a beautiful morning, glad you made it home safe :)
