Itinerary
Start your Redwoods and Wine Country adventure with a convenient pickup from your San Francisco hotel. Settle in as your journey begins with a scenic drive through the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, passing historic landmarks and crossing the Golden Gate Bridge.
Step into the peaceful wonder of Muir Woods, a forest sanctuary just north of San Francisco where time seems to slow down. You'll have one hour to explore shaded trails beneath the tallest trees on Earth—ancient coastal redwoods, some over 1,000 years old and 250 feet tall. Often wrapped in cool, misty fog from the nearby Pacific, the forest offers a quiet escape filled with rustling leaves and birdsong. It’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature and experience one of California’s most magical landscapes.
Begin your wine tasting adventure in Napa, the world-renowned region known for its exceptional wines, scenic vineyards, and rich winemaking heritage.
Begin your wine country experience at Ru Vango Winery in Napa, where a scenic vineyard tour leads into your first tasting of 4 local wines. Surrounded by rolling hills, curated artwork, and sweeping vineyard views, enjoy elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and bold reds in a serene, gallery-style setting.
Travel into Sonoma Valley, the birthplace of California’s wine industry, known for its charming countryside, historic towns, and world-class vineyards. With its laid-back feel and sun-drenched rolling hills, this scenic region offers a more intimate wine country experience as you make your way to the next tasting.
Sonoma Plaza is the historic heart of Sonoma Valley and a charming stop on your tour. It's surrounded by boutique shops, wine tasting rooms, and a variety of restaurants—ranging from casual cafés to gourmet, farm-to-table spots—making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy lunch. As you stroll through the square, you’ll see landmarks like Sonoma City Hall, the Sonoma Barracks, and the site of the Bear Flag Revolt, offering a glimpse into California’s history. For something extra special, you can upgrade to a three-course food and wine pairing at a local restaurant, where seasonal dishes are expertly matched with local wines—a delicious way to experience the region’s culinary scene.
Continue to your second wine tasting at Mayo Family Winery, a welcoming, family-owned boutique winery nestled in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Known for its small-batch, single-vineyard wines, Mayo offers a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and an educational tasting experience. You’ll sample a diverse selection of varietals—such as Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Gewürztraminer, and Grenache—each crafted with care and full of local character.
Your third wine tasting takes place at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, a Tuscan-inspired estate in Sonoma Valley. Founded to honor Valeriano Jacuzzi, the winery blends Italian heritage with California winemaking. Stroll the picturesque grounds and sample a flight of Italian-style wines like Sangiovese and Barbera. Don't miss the complimentary olive oil tasting at The Olive Press, where you can try award-winning extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars. With its rich history, beautiful architecture, and artisanal offerings, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards offers a memorable finale to your wine country journey.
On your way back, cross the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and pause for a photo stop at the Golden Gate North Vista Point. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of the bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the sweeping San Francisco skyline.
You'll be dropped off at your original pickup location, ending your day full of natural beauty, rich history, and world-class wine on a high note. It’s the perfect finish to a truly unforgettable California experience.

This was an amazing experience! Ben was an amazing tour guide and all of the wineries were amazing! This excursion was well worth the price!
Randall was a great tour guide that knew everything about San Francisco and about wine tasting. Highly recommend!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're delighted Randall made your tour memorable. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!🥰
It was a beautiful day. Randal did an amazing job. We loved Jacuzzi winery building. The food at Sonoma was quite good. Muir Forest was absolutely worth it. I would love to have the chance to choose the wineries to visit, but this was good anyways.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed your Muir Woods adventure with Randall and found the scenery well worth the journey. We hope to welcome you back again!
Our bus broke down and we were not able to complete the tour and we were stuck at a winery for 3 hours. Our guide was helpful BUT we were not offered compensation for inconvenience or lack of complete service promised.
They canceled my tour less than 30 minutes before we were to meet the bus! They said they were overbooked. We waited over 30 minutes at the pickup site just in case maybe someone didn’t show up for the tour, and maybe we could still make the tour. NO BUS EVER EVEN SHOWED UP!!! Very disappointed!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the last-minute cancellation of your tour. We completely understand how frustrating it was to arrive at the pickup location only to have your plans unexpectedly changed. We would like to clarify that the cancellation was not due to overbooking. Unfortunately, the tour had to be canceled because the vehicle assigned to the tour experienced an unexpected mechanical issue and was not safe to operate. While situations like this are extremely rare, the safety of our guests and staff must always come first. We know this does not make up for the disruption to your travel plans, and we're truly sorry for the experience. A full refund was promptly processed, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to provide the experience we strive to deliver.
Absolutely unacceptable. I booked this tour well in advance, and on the one day I had available for sightseeing, the company canceled — at 7:30 a.m., as I was literally walking out the door. I had three days in town and only one window to explore, and a last‑minute email to my party of three shut it down completely. This level of disorganization is extremely disappointing. I will not book with this company again, and I want other travelers to be aware of how poorly last‑minute cancellations are handled. I guess I was suppose to be comforted by their assurance that my party would be reimbursed. Well no duh! You did not provide the contracted service so yes of course I being reimbursed. How about additional reimbursement for the inconvenience involved.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment caused by the cancellation, especially given that you had only one opportunity to take the tour during your visit. We understand how upsetting it is to have your plans disrupted at the last minute. While we make every effort to operate every scheduled departure, there are rare occasions when unforeseen operational circumstances prevent us from doing so. We know that this does not lessen the inconvenience, particularly when your itinerary is limited. Because we were unable to provide the tour as planned, we immediately processed a full refund for your booking. We recognize that a refund cannot make up for the lost opportunity or the disruption to your travel plans, and we're truly sorry for the experience you had. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving our operations.
Really fun day. Our tour guide, Kevin, was very knowledgeable about San Francisco and the surrounding area. He put a personal touch into our day. The olive oils and balsamic vinegars at Jacuzzi Winery were fantastic.
Thank you for choosing to tour with us and for sharing your experience! We're so pleased you enjoyed your day in Muir Woods with Kevin. We hope to see you again on another adventure! 🥰
We had a blast on the Muir Woods and wine tour! Dustin was a great tour guide and provided excellent information about each stop. The tour group wasn’t huge (~30 people), which made it really nice to meet other tourists and ask questions. The wineries were all fantastic and the time at Muir Woods was awesome. Definitely worth every penny and a great way to learn more about California’s wine country!
Thanks for your kind feedback! We're thrilled you had a great time exploring Muir Woods and wine country with Dustin. We'll be sure to pass along your compliments. We hope to welcome you back soon! 😊
