My husband and I loved our afternoon with Buddy and all the amazing sites he shared with us on our last day in San Francisco. The stops were amazing and all of Buddy's stories and historical facts were so interesting. We learned and laughed a lot. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you!
We did the afternoon tour, and it did not deliver. We were picked up at 2 and dropped off at 6pm. We spent most if the time (3 out if the 4 hours) in the van. We did a photo stop in Pacific heights, and a few minutes at the Precidio and Golden Gate bridge. The longest stop was a 20 minute stop at some museum called the de Young. It only included the gift shop and cafeteria however. The rest if the time was spent driving past numerous neighborhoods. We did not see or stop at the painted ladies. We did not drive past Lombard street. Drove by financial district but not really able to see the Pyramid transamerica, coit tower, any tall structures, etc out of the van windows. No stops at Fishermans wharf, Chinatown, Embarcadero, downtown (just drive-by). Our tour guide mumbled a lot, and really liked to talk about plants, foliage, gardens that were closed, etc. Quite frankly it was extremely boring. Several people fell asleep. Van was extremely cramped. Skip this one.
We spent most of our time in a very cramped van driving around neighborhoods. Short stops at the Golden Gate Bridge, Presidio, photo op. Did not stop at the Fishermans wharf, Chinatown, downtown (just drove past). We did stop at the de Young museum giftshop and cafeteria (but couldn't go into the museum itself). Couldn't drive past the painted ladies (or walk past), but drove around hundreds of other houses. Did not drive past Lombard. Lot of mumbling by our guide about plans and trees. So boring people falling asleep. Don't do it.
We had a mixup on the place of pickup and drop off. Once that was resolved all was good. One of the best things about this tour is they picked you up at your hotel and dropped you back when the tour was over. Just make sure you let them know where you are staying. My husband and I have visited San Francisco twice and I visited twice for work. We saw more on this tour than any other one we took. Mike was very knowledgeable about all the different neighborhoods he brought us too. He obviously has a love and pride in his city and wanted to share it with all of us.
Jerry, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, accommodating and provided lots of safety tips and hacks during our tour. We are a group of 12 with seniors and kids. All had a good time and get to see San Francisco at a different light. The coordination team was prompt and organized. Thank you Jerry and the team. Will recommend to friends.
An amazing tour around Dan Francisco! Michael is GREAT! Took us to several places we would not have known about.
The gentleman ( Micheal ) guiding us was very nice & knowledgable & we appreciate his patience. He did a great job.
A great way to learn about districts and the story of each - great experience, kind and knowledgeable tour guide -
Buddy was a great tour guide. Driving was impeccable. I found the tour very educational. He covered the history of the city quite well.
This was a good experience especially me as a solo traveler out tour guy Mike was knowledgeable and talk about the history and he took us round i got to know more about SF,i will highly recommend his tour to anyone here that want to know the city but has less time.
