Interesting pyramid excursion

Today we had a very interesting excursion to Sakkara, Dahsour and Memphis with our private guide Emad Salib. He explained a lot about the temples and pyramids and also about the city. And very importantly he was a good driver and very helpful.

Best Tour Guide Experience in Cairo with Emad Salib

We had an incredible experience visiting Dahshur, Memphis, and Saqqara with a local tour guide we booked through Viator. From the very beginning, he stood out for his professionalism, flexibility, and genuine kindness—truly a gentleman. His name is Emad Salib. Emad's knowledge of Cairo and Egyptian history was outstanding. He explained everything with clarity and passion, always knowing exactly what to say and when to say it, which made each site come alive in a meaningful way. We had pre-booked several tickets and shared them with Emad Salib in advance, and he immediately adapted the entire schedule and route to fit our plans seamlessly. His ability to organize the day so efficiently made everything smooth and stress-free. He knew exactly where to go, what to see, and how to make the most of every moment. Out of all the local tour guides we’ve had, he was by far the best. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Emad Salib brings ancient Egypt to life!

We had a truly wonderful day exploring Sakkara, Dahshur, and Memphis with Emad Salib. He has the ability to bring ancient Egypt to life in a way that is both engaging and easy to understand. Emad is a very well-informed storyteller, sharing not just historical facts but meaningful context that helps you really connect with what you’re seeing. One of the highlights was his explanation of the tomb of Mereruka, which gave us fascinating insight into daily life in ancient Egypt. He is incredibly knowledgeable about both ancient history and modern Egyptian culture, and he was very helpful in guiding us on what to see and how to make the most of our time. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a grill restaurant he recommended—such a nice touch. Above all, Emad is kind, humble, and a genuine pleasure to spend the day with. We would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Egypt.

Guide for Sakkara and Memphis

We had a great day exploring the pyramids and Memphis. Our guide gave us a lot of information and answered all of our questions. He also picked us up and drove us back to our hotel and during the tour he took plenty of time to explain everything and also gave us time to take photos and see the monuments. The dinner afterwards was also excellent. Everything was very smooth and professional! Thank you very much to our guide, Emad Salib!

Do not miss this tour when you come to Giza.

Today Ehmad took us to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur. The highlight was the Mastaba Tomb, a prime minister’s tomb, where we saw ornate carvings and hieroglyphs. If you are a lover of nature, you will want to see the carvings of animals such as fish, birds, hippopotami, cows, crocodile and dogs, to name a few. Ehmad had to study Egyptology for more than 8 years and gain a qualification to become a guide. It feels like he is a Professor because of his knowledge. We have booked him again because he makes us feel at ease and has the right balance of attentiveness, but also gave us space and time to process what we were seeing.
