Join us for a unique Saigon evening street food adventure, where we'll take you on a culinary journey off the beaten path to discover authentic local flavors. You will taste cuisine from North, Central, and South Vietnam. Get picked up at the meeting point, Huyen Sy Church, and then we leave the tourist area behind and walk to the local area. Start your food adventure in the non-tourist district. Here is the highlight of what you will do with me: Thirteen tastings of authentic, delicious street food in the local area

You'll have the opportunity to taste both the big and small versions of this delightful dish, allowing you to compare and contrast the different textures and flavors. After our flavorful adventure with Vietnamese Pizza, it's time to pause and refresh ourselves with a quintessential Vietnamese drink: fresh sugar cane juice. We'll make our way to the bustling second-hand and seafood markets, where you'll find vendors expertly pressing sugar cane to extract its sweet nectar. As we arrive at the market, you'll be greeted by the rhythmic sound of the sugar cane press and the sweet aroma that fills the air. Take a moment to catch your breath and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this bustling marketplace. At the juice stand, you'll watch as the vendor skillfully feeds sugar cane stalks through the press, extracting the fresh juice that's bursting with natural sweetness. The result is a refreshing and revitalizing beverage that's perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot day. Sip on your freshly squeezed sugar cane juice and savor the pure, natural flavors that dance across your palate.
We explore the local area and indulge in one of Saigon's most intriguing street foods: Vietnamese Pizza. Originating from the Central Highlands area, this dish puts a creative twist on the traditional pizza concept, offering a flavor experience like no other. As we stroll through the streets, you'll have the opportunity to grab a beer and embrace the laid-back atmosphere, channeling your inner gangster as we navigate the vibrant streets of Saigon. Our destination is a hidden gem known for serving up the best Vietnamese Pizza in town. Here, you'll be greeted by the tantalizing aroma of sizzling grills and the lively chatter of locals enjoying their favorite street foods. Vietnamese Pizza, also known as "Banh Trang Nuong," features a crispy rice paper base topped with a variety of savory ingredients, including minced pork, shrimp, scallions, and quail eggs.

Last stop, we cross the street to explore other districts and stop at the most famous street food market and the biggest flower market. We will try the best dessert is Coconut Ice Cream, before We walk to the main road and take a cab to return!

Great experience!! As a solo traveller I was apprehensive about trying the street food and I had no idea where to go let alone try as it was very overwhelming. Mattie took me to some really great places from savoury to sweet and there was not one dish that didn’t enjoy. My favorite dishes were, forgive me as I don’t remember the correct names, the sticky rice and banana desert and Vietnamese pizza. Definitely I highly recommend.

This was our first night in Vietnam so we were looking to experience some local food. Our guide Daniel was very knowledgeable on the local herbs and cuisine and how to eat Vietnamese food. We walked to several vibrant neighborhoods navigating through lots of bustling streets and traffic so just prepare yourself for a one of a kind experience.

Daniel was amazing. His English was great. His rapport with us and each restaurant was incredible. I am certain we would not have had such an extensive experience with Vietnamese food, even if we stayed another week. He showed us many of the foods on his phone. It was close to the New Year. The streets were decorated and Daniel gave us an above the street view. He went over and above to get us across the bustling streets of HCMC. I was always a bit nervous!! He was solid and safe! A great adventure.

Daniel was an incredible guide, very knowledgable about Ho Chi Minh City and the local food. As someone who does not enjoy motorbikes this walking tour was perfect. I tried some tasty food I wouldn’t have tried otherwise and Daniel was very considerate, taking my food preferences into account. I did the tour on my first night and it was a great way to learn more about the city and the food and Daniel gave me some excellent recommendations for food and activities to try during my stay. 10/10 would recommend!
