My son had a really enjoyable time at Cambridge Rowing Experience. He had no previous knowledge of the sport and really wanted to try it out. All coaches were professional and welcoming and he came away very happy.

Our two teens have been visiting Cambridge in the summer for a number of years. They usually play tennis, bike, and tour England, but this year wanted to try rowing. They had a great time, the other kids were great, and they really appreciated the experience. We are so glad that we were able to experience such an iconic activity with such a wonderful team.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the river! We were on the water in no time following instruction from the instructor. Our cox was very calm with 8 newbies in a long boat and supported by her team member from the bank. Neither of us had done it before and neither of us are particularly sporty. I’d go again!

We have done many things in Cambridge. This is a great experience. First 30-40 minutes is instruction and then real action on the water! Omar is a great coach. Explains clearly for beginners, encourages, supports. In the end, you get 3 hrs of good practice (don’t forget to eat solid breakfast - you will need your energy), teamwork and lots of fun! Cannot recommend this highly enough. The instructor was terrific and had eight of us, mostly complete beginners, rowing together in rhythm and enjoying the best views from the Cam on a glorious summer's day. Also got the bug so definitely keen to join some of the level 1 rowing groups next and do some more, potentially even learning to scull.

Great exprience, seeing Cambridge from the river... while learning how to row, with a very patient instructor! Lived in Cambridge for 20 years, and wish I had tried this earlier... defintely going back to try some more

We enjoyed a fun and iconic 8-man rowing session. Everyone was very welcoming and we enjoyed a tour of the boat house before getting to grips with the basics on the rowing machines. Our instructor guided us through every stage and was very patient with those of us who were complete beginners. A great introduction to rowing.
