The driver will not accompany them during their stay in Cinqueterre, but just from Livorno Port to La Spezia Train Station.

PICK UP AT THE SHIP AND DROP OFF AT LA SPEZIA TRAIN STATION; PICK UP FROM LA SPEZIA AND DROP OFF IN LIVORNO;
After our meeting at the ship, we will drive to La Spezia Train Station. Here you will take the train to move from Riomaggiore to Monterosso stopping in Manarola,Corniglia and Vernazza. The driver will be waiting at 4.30 p.m at the train station in La Spezia. This is a round trip. ( DOUBLE TRANSFER FROM LIVORNO TO LA SPEZIA AND FROM LA SPEZIA TO LIVORNO- NONE DRIVER AT YOUR DISPOSAL)

Once you disembark, please follow the crowd to the exit. Our driver will be waiting for you with a sign showing your name on it. Do not take any shuttle bus; The pick up and drop off time can be change according the arrival and departure time of the ship.

The Cinqueterre is worth seeing with a tour guide. Our guide was a local who walked us to the train station to catch the appropriate train. We visited 2 of the 5 villages with our guide. He explained a lot while also providing free time as well. On our return to port, our guide had us take the water ferry which allowed us to view all 5 Cinqueterre villages from the water. Given how busy these villages are and the transportation involved in getting to and from them, having a guide look after us to ensure our on time return to port was worthwhile.

Round Trip Cinqueterre We booked a round trip from Livorno port to Cinqueterre. The driver came to pick us up around 8 a.m. and he dropped us off in Portovenere. According our itinerary we had to go to the train station in La Spezia , but before to leave Livorno, the driver gave us 2 options.. Train station in La spezia, Riomaggiore, the first of the five lands or Portovenere ( the last one is not part of Cinqueterre). We choosed Portovenere and I think , it has been the best choice!! The cost of the ferry boat from Portovenere is a little bit more expensive than from Riomaggiore and of course of the train, but this fish village is worth to visit. We discovered all lands by our own , with all recommendation by the driver, ( not Corniglia, they haven’t the pier) and 4 p.m he came back to pick us up at La spezia train station. We had great time!
