We had a wonderful day exploring Rouen and Honfleur with Normandy Tours. From the moment we were picked up, everything was well organized, comfortable, and stress-free. Our guide Guillame was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Normandy’s history and culture. We enjoyed learning about the fascinating history of Rouen while strolling through its beautiful medieval streets and admiring the stunning cathedral. The visit to Honfleur was equally delightful, with its charming harbour, colourful buildings, and relaxed atmosphere. Travelling by private vehicle allowed us to see the picturesque Norman countryside at a comfortable pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the scenery. My husband has some mobility limitations, and our guide was exceptionally accommodating, adjusting the day so we could experience the highlights without feeling rushed. This was one of the highlights of our cruise and a wonderful way to discover two of Normandy’s most beautiful towns. We highly recommend Normandy Tours to anyone looking for a personalized, informative, and enjoyable experience. Thank you for helping create such special memories! Because of this outstanding experience we will certainly be returning to Normandy for another tour with this amazing team !
Dear Kathleen, Thank you so much for giving us the chance to assist you. We're pleased to hear that you & your husband had a memorable experience on this tour. We shall pass on your kind words to Guillaume. We look forward to welcoming you back to Normandy in the future!
The beautiful and medieval city of Rouen, capital of Normandy, France, has much to offer tourists from its impressive Cathedral, the museum of fine arts, the market square, its imposing architecture, the place where Joan of Arcs was burned at the stake, the great clock or as simple as getting lost in its cobbled streets worn by the years.
Dear Guest, Bonjour ! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We are glad to hear that you have enjoyed your time in Rouen. We hope to welcome you here again in the future. Wish you a great journey ahead.
Rouen, pearl and capital of Normandy, a paved pedestrian center with medieval half-timbered houses, the city is dominated by the spiers of Notre-Dame Cathedral, a beauty that will never be forgotten. A historic center alive with many young people and many less young people, order and cleanliness, many welcoming places at reasonable prices.
Rouen is a Great day trip from Paris. It’s a small town so easy to see the major sites and you won’t want to miss the cathedral that Monet painted!
Don’t be put off by the centre of town. It’s where the big department stores are. Head for the spire of the Norte dam cathedral and you will find the old cobbled streets where the individual shops and antique shops are. Head for the ornate clock that’s above the archway, sit a while at the cafe under the clock and wait for the hour to sound, you’ll see the freeze under the clock change. We loved Rouen, if you love Bruges you’ll love Rouen.
