Get that front row feeling for highlights of 30+ years of induction ceremonies. This epic hall of fame pays homage to our inductees through an immersive concert-quality production and a space for fans to share their own stories. Another milestone being celebrated is 50+ years since the start of Rolling Stone Magazine, the counterculture start up that rose to the top by covering the cross-section of music, politics and pop culture. Here's a short list of our permanent, featured exhibits that help us show off our collection: • Roots of Rock & Roll • The Beat Goes On: an interactive exhibit to show who influenced your fav band • Elvis • Legends of Rock: featuring Guns N' Roses, David Bowie, the Supremes, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Parliament Funkadelic and many more • Cities and Sounds: Motown, Psychedelic, Punk, Grunge... Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is under construction right now! You cannot take photos outside and there were no guides.
Lots to see!! Allow at least 3-4 hours to do it justice. If you like Paul McCartney be sure to go to the 6th floor for his Wings exhibit.
Lots of things to see and memories created while seeing so much and so many legends in music. 6 floors of fun
Time went by fast. We were there for 3 hours before we realized. Really enjoyed the exhibits. Love loved it.
We enjoyed it so much! Very fun and interesting!
This was a great experience, widely interesting, containing many diverse exhibits with something of interest to anyone interested in Rock music
It was a little underwhelming, no live music, not many costumes, I just thought there would be more. The gift shop was very expensive. But I checked it off my list, in general it wasn’t a bad experience. Buy your tickets ahead and expect a line outside but it moves quickly. Give us some music guy , there must be new artists dying to get on a stage.
We had a good time. Our only concern was that the rooms flow is off. It was hard to tell where to go.
Easy entry with ticket, able to pace yourself through the different sections, also able to back track, which was nice.
Great place! We heard you could spend a few hours there… We wound up spending 6 and we did not do a lot of the interactive stuff. There’s nothing wrong with bringing, but if they’re under 10 or 12, they really won’t appreciate too much except maybe testing out the instruments. There is an amazing amount of fascinating history about all rock genres. The timed ticket seems to assure that the place doesn’t get too crowded, which was really a pleasure.
