Interesting day full of information and amazing views from table Mountain. Recommend this tour and Remi was an excellent guide.
The Robben island tour was moving, very educational and impactful. And table mountain was a must-see!
Long day but very worthwhile. Remy was a great guide and looked after us very well. We enjoyed the itinerary and Robben island was humbling.
With Remmy as our guide, we had a marvelous day traveling around the Cape Town scenic area. Our trip was replete with knowledge galore which Remmy provided. He is incredibly gracious with his time and is one of the most expert guides I’ve experienced. When interruptions beyond his control arose, he quickly found solutions for us that were just as enjoyable, and we always felt safe in his care.
They didn't turn up!! We got to the meeting point before time. No one was there!! No one contacted. I contacted them several times but no response. I still don't know why.
Fantastic, engaging and well planned excursion that you cannot afford to miss. The trip was well beyond our expectations and excellent value for money. If in Cape Town, don’t miss out, instead, make some memories!
It was a thought-provoking excursion. The ex political prisoners was very humble and an exceptional human being. The tour guide on the bus was extremely knowledgeable.
Was a little confusing re:start time. Tour start time advertised as being 9am. In reality, the ferry for Robben Island leaves at 9. And must have an ID to board the ferry. Fortunately had a picture of mine.
We really enjoyed the trip to Table Mountain, we were lucky it was a bright sunny day. The cable car going up to the top of the mountain holds 65 people and rotates as it moves so everyone gets a good view. There were a number of different view points at the top to get great photos. Bo Kapp was an interesting place to walk around and again get good photos of the coloured buildings, the history is worth reading about. The trip over to Robben Island takes about 45 minutes, when you arrive you are transferred to buses for a short tour of the island. The guide we had on the bus was excellent giving us an history talk of the island, he was very knowledgeable and introduced a bit of fun into his commentary. We then were passed over to an ex prisoner for a tour of the prison area. He took us into one of the communal cells which slept about 60 prisoners, he told us about the conditions in the prison which although interesting went on too long. Because the talk had gone on for such a long time we were then rushed passed the cell block including Nelson Mandela's cell and the shower blocks and we had to try and take photos as we walked which ruined the experience a little, after all taking photos of the best bits are very important. Overall the combined trip was well worth doing.p
Great way to maximise your day & time. Excellent service - professional, polite & prompt tour guide. Pick-up on time, very helpful & informative tour guide explaining the days scheduled events and timing. Robben Island is amazing, Table Mountain is breathtaking, and Bo-Kaap history incredible.
