Great bus guide, poor return logistics, good experience overall but took a long time to get back to CT
Excellent 30 minute ferry to Robben Island followed by a guided bus tour around the Island for about 45 minutes. 2nd part (45 mins) includes a moving discussion with a former prisoner and a walk around the prison, including a walk by the tiny cell where Nelson Mandela was held. Overall about 4 hours by the time you’re back at V&A. This tour will leave an impact on you. A MUST do.
Is an activity that you have to do, especially if you wanna know about the wild history of South Africa
Thank you John for your feedback. Robben Island is a treasure that inspires Not Africans only but the whole world in general.
