Itinerary
Stand before the majestic Gothic cathedral where nearly every French king was crowned — and uncover the ancient secret said to descend from heaven itself. What happened here changed the course of French history.
Peer into a mysterious underground gallery built by the Romans — cool, shadowy, and perfectly preserved for nearly 2,000 years. What was stored here, and why does Reims hold one of the world’s rarest examples?
Stand beneath one of the oldest surviving Roman triumphal arches in the world — a gateway that has seen empires rise and fall. But why is it named after the god of war, and what secrets are carved into its stone?
Walk into a royal square where kings once stood tall — and where a statue's outstretched hand hides layers of forgotten symbolism.
Know more about the royal backstage where kings feasted, changed, and prepared for coronation — a place hiding one of France’s most sacred relics.
Discover how an American steel tycoon helped rebuild war-torn Reims — not with weapons, but with books and bold Art Deco design.
This unassuming school was once the nerve center of the Allied forces — where World War II in Europe officially came to an end. But why wasn’t Eisenhower in the room when Germany surrendered?
Gaze upon a haunting memorial where bronze figures mourn and remember the fallen of the Great War.
Known more about a medieval mansion where one man rebuilt history — but left a wing in ruins on purpose.

I could not download the tour yesterday and can not find a download link available today. I thought this would be available for a year as advertised.
We see places in Reims that we probably would not have discovered otherwise, and we do so at our own pace! Sufficient information, just the right amount of detail for us. The photos were also good for clarifying what was either currently inaccessible or no longer clearly recognizable due to weathering! Kindly, the tour could be continued the following day, as we had started it too late on the first day! It is very conceivable to repeat this type of tour in another city!
Vielen Dank für Ihr schönes Feedback. Es freut uns sehr, dass die Tour Ihnen neue Perspektiven auf Reims eröffnet hat und so gut zu Ihrem eigenen Entdeckungstempo gepasst hat.
We enjoyed the tour and it worked well for us. It was easy to download the app and follow the route at our own pace. The big problem I had was an unexpected one with my iPhone and others had similar. When playing the commentary I was interrupted by my BBC Sounds app and this prevented me using the commentary. I could not cure it quickly. Luckily I could share my friend’s earphones. I have checked and it is a known problem with Media Player but I had no time to deal with it. Very frustrating. I suggest you warn people about this in advance. Thanks
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad the tour worked well for you overall, and we appreciate you highlighting this issue as it's a helpful suggestion for improving the experience for future users.
Great way to see the city of Reims! This self-guided tour gave me a lot of great information on things to see and the history behind it. You could go at your own pace and stop the tour until you got to the next stop. The last stop at the place where the nazis surrendered was very interesting. Going to the museum was extra but if you are a history buff worth it.
Thank you for the wonderful feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed the experience and found it a rewarding way to discover the city.
Very interesting route to learn a lot about the city of Reims. Low cost. To do without hesitation.
Merci beaucoup ! Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez trouvé le parcours intéressant et accessible.
Great tour app easy to navigate . We learned a lot about hidden history of Reims .
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed discovering the hidden history of Reims and found the app easy to use.
We visited on a Sunday and the tour took us just under 2 hours (excluding looking inside the cathedral). The Carnegie Library was not open on a Sunday and the museum at the Roosevelt school was temporarily closed for renovation. Had these been open the tour would have lasted longer. We were in the magnificent cathedral for about 40 minutes. If you like a paper map get one in your language from the tourist office by the cathedral.
Thank you for your helpful feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and appreciate your notes about opening times and closures. This will definitely help future visitors plan better. Hope to welcome you on another tour soon!
It was interesting but you had to keep your screen open all the time to know, where to go to the next point of interest.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you found the tour interesting and appreciate your comment about navigation. We’ll work on improving this for a smoother experience.
Great experience. It was my first time trying this, and I would definitely recommend it. Perfect way to explore the city at your own pace while learning about its history
Thank you! We’re glad your first experience was a great one. Hope to see you on another tour soon!
Great if you’ve got a twelve year old with you to help navigate the technology.
