9:30am Meeting in Reims, first most important city for Champagne and visit the famous Cathedral where kings coronations were held If you take the 8:28am train from Paris, we can meet you at the Reims train station at 9:15am, just let us know the day before to organize the pick up. On some days we have as well direct departures from Paris at 7:45am. Please contact us asap if you prefer that option as option is often sold out.
Let's take the road along the touristic road of Champagne - Vineyard sightseeing of the best grape growing areas of Champagne Your guide who can be a Wine Expert and/or professional and experimented guide will explain everything about the Champagne region, history and the making process of the famous Champagne wine. - Visit and tastings at the first Winery. We change everyday the wineries we visit so it can be a Champagne House or a very premium Boutique establishment with premium tastings. You will taste at least 6 excellent, premium and different Champagne during the whole day. Our head Sommelier, Wine expert and Wine Educator Luiz B., created the tours and select the best wineries. He writes for 2 Champagne guide books and have access to exceptional wineries.
Lunch break in the famous village of Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne and where used to leave Dom Perignon. Lunch is not including but we will already book a table for you in a lovely french restaurant with qualitative food, great Champagne selection and very good price (budget from 35euros p/p). Restaurants adapt easily to all food restrictions. As we change everyday the wineries we visit, restaurant can be in another village according to logistic but always a good adress.
Visit the church and lovely village, where Dom Perignon used to live called birthplace of Champagne and Unesco village.
Let's take the road along the touristic road of Champagne and stop at the second premium Winemaker (Boutique Establishment) for a visit and great tastings. You will taste at least 6 excellent, premium and different Champagne during the whole day. We change wineries everyday.
Walk along the Avenue de Champagne, Unesco street headquarters of the most prestigious Champagne Houses as Moet&Chandon, Perrier&Jouet, Leclerc brillant
We finish the tour in front of the Moët & Chandon boutique. Go on by yourself and explore more Champagne Houses and bars in the Unesco Avenue. Epernay train station is 150meters behind and take the regional train to go back to Reims (every 30min on week days) or Paris (every hour on week days). If you choose the private option and privatise the tour, we take you back at your hotel.

For the private tour option: we offer the Hotel pick-up between Reims and Epernay. Please contact us before by message to arrange the pick-up location and time. End of the tour at your hotel. For the group tour option: We meet you at the Reims Cathedral at 9:30am, or if you let us know in advance at 9:15am at the Reims city train station if you are coming from Paris.

- The tour is in English but depending on days our guides can help and speak french, italian, portuguese and spanish. If you privatise the tour and arrange it in advance we can attribute to you a portuguese or italian or spanish or french speaking guide.
- Tour starts in front of the Reims Cathedral, left side gate at 9:30am. We can meet you as well at the Reims train station at 9:15am if you arrive from Paris, but let us know in advance to arrange pick-up. On some days, we have tours departing from Paris. Please send us a message asap if you prefer to book that option, seats are limited.
- Tour finishes around 5pm in Epernay Avenue de Champagne so you can follow your journey in the most famous Champagne bars as Moët & Chandon, Perrier & Jouet.. . Train station is just 150meters away where you can go back easily to Reims (every 30min during week day and 3€ pp if you book it in advance, 5:32pm train for exemple). Or go back to Paris direct from Epernay (every hour on week days, 5:29pm train for exemple).
- If you book the private option hotel pick-up and drop-off are included around Reims, Epernay,. Please contact us in advance to arrange the pick-up
- During the break time for lunch, we book already a restaurant for you according to the logistic of the tour as we change everyday the wineries we visit. Restaurants adapt to diet restrictions.
- The van can fit a stroller or a compact wheelchair, please let us know in advance at time of booking so we will book no stairs wineries. We have as well infant seats available but limited, please let us know in advance age of children.
- Minimum legal drinking age is 18 years old.

Outstanding tour for Wine lovers (especially champagne). Whether you are new to wine tasting or an expert there will be something for you on this tour. Our guide, Luiz was awesome! He has an extensive background in this industry and will happily answer any and all questions you may have from the production of the grapes to the finished product ready to drink. Additionally Luiz is a local who will provide your group with history of the areas you visit and will drive through the most scenic vineyard areas you can imagine! Don’t miss this tour! A fantastic and wholesome tour, delivered by Louis and his wife Caroline, that I couldn’t recommend enough! It is easy to get carried away with the glitz and glamour of the big houses of Champagne, but Louis intermit knowledge of the region and his background as a sommelier, personally picks some hidden gems that you wouldn’t necessary find yourself. Some of these producers, sell grapes to the most prestigious names, so the quality is outstanding. Because Louis lives in the region, the tour feels like a journey, guiding you through the history of champagne, and the infamous influence by Dom Perignon. With some great stops between producers, including a fantastic bistro at lunch and a little surprise at the end of the tour. Louis is happy to give you recommendations for the rest of your time in the region from places to eat or champagne bars. I will never look at champagne the same way again after this tour and feel I can make a more of an informed choice when buying champagne. The whole package to get off the beaten track experience the true culture of champagne.

We had an amazing time on this tour with Luiz! Our group was small, it felt more like visiting a friend in Champagne than a formal tour which we really loved. Our tastings were in private and with very knowledgable, friendly people/owners of the wineries. All the champagne was exceptional, of course, and Luiz added so much interesting information about not only the wine, but also the history of the region and its people!

Luis was our guide. We were the first tour of the season so ended up getting a private experience. He was a very good guide, communicated in advance, answered all questions and was friendly. We went to one small, local family owned champagne house and a larger one. Seeing the difference between the two was wonderful experience. Only thing to note is if book this tour it wasn't 100% clear the the tour picks you up in Reims but ends in Epernay. Luckily trains at cheap and every hour between the cities, but that did come as a bit of a surprise when we found this out halfway through the tour.

The tour was absolutely wonderful! We visited so many different kinds of wineries — from local hidden gems to famous ones — and each had its own charm. Our guide was fantastic! This was my favorite wine tour of all. Our guide , LUIZ, was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the wine/champagne of the region. We had a great tour of a champagne cellar, and got to try lots of different champagnes. And Luiz surprised everyone in the tour with a glass of champagne as we stood at the top of a hillside overlooking some vineyards. Because of their connections with champagne houses, and other people in the area, we were able to go to places that weren’t over touristy. We also got to see the countryside and a couple of small villages. And we had an enjoyable lunch at a restaurant in Champaign that Luiz brought us to. Can’t recommend this enough!
