What a fun tour. Jamie was fantastic. so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had an extra day before flying out for our antartica trip. We had only a certain time and we wanted to see the city. So glad we did it. it a must do!!
Thank you for this positive review- I am so glad that your group had fun. I certainly had fun with you! Thank you for choosing to spend your short time in the city exploring the Antarctic history of Punta Arenas with me. Hope to see you again someday in Patagonia!
Jamie is from Canada living in Patagonia so has perfect English. Her knowledge of all the explorers and detailed stories about their expeditions is impressive. It inspired me to come home and read up on them. The tour was very interesting with lots of great photos taken. We concluded at Bar Shackleton which was so elegant and had lots of art about about the Endurance. At the end, we both felt like we had made a new friend! This is an easy, unrushed tour; I loved it!
Thank you so very much for this feedback- I really loved spending the day trading stories with you. There is no greater compliment for a guide than to have a passenger who is inspired to learn more after their tour, and I am so glad to have been able to do this for you. Thanks for spending the day exploring Punta Arenas with me. I wish you all the very best on your future adventures!

A very informative tour of Punta Arenas. Our guide was born here and was well prepared and detailed quite a bit of the history of explorations to the Antarctic and the establishment and growth of Punta Arenas. The replica ships at the Nao Victoria Museo give one a feel for the amazing bravery of those who came to explore the Magallanes Region.
Many thanks for these kind words. I am glad that we were able to share the incredible history of the explorers of the world with you!
