Best Way to Visit the Windmills

Our captain and tour guide was Derek. He was SO accommodating and helpful. We had a bunch of travel issues and he worked around them so nicely. Very informative as he is so knowledgeable on the area. Highly recommend.

It was all enjoyment

A top afternoon with a very enthusiastic captain guide...and weathering the rain. It made it extra cozy and we stayed dry. Nice news and the drink offered at the end was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended...even with less good weather.

Delightful Experience

On a chilly windy showery day our covered boat was a wonderful way to see the windmills from the waterside. We were greeted warmly by Matheas, a local resident currently attending university, who was a delightful host and tourguide, full of local information, as well as knowledge of the mills and history. After viewing the windmills, we also traveled past the edge of the village across the water from the mills, a mix of new and old houses, with views of their gardens and architecture. Other members of the team running Dutch Boat Tours greeted us as we disembarked. It is a well run, friendly group with new, quiet boats and lots of smiles. I highly recommend Dutch Boat Tours!!!
