My friends and I book a private car from Hanoi to Halong. We took our cruise in Halong for 6 hours so driver waited for us. And then he took us back to hotel in Hanoi. It was convenient we chat with driver on WhatsApp to inform the time our cruise arrive. We had clean, good condition car, good driver. Recommended

Halong bay one day tour maybe tiresome for some people, but in general is possible to do if you have a comfortable ride like we had.
