We will visit the ruins of Pompeii for 2 hours. Pompeii was a large Roman city in Campania, Italy, which was buried by volcanic ash following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Excavated in the XIX-XX century, its excellent state of preservation offers an invaluable insight into Roman daily life. Pompeii is perhaps the richest archaeological site in the world for the volume of data available to scholars.
At the end of the transfer we will guide you to Sorrento to drop you off at your hotel or villa. The Sorrento Peninsula is a jagged promontory overlooking the southern end of the Gulf of Naples. This hilly peninsula ends abruptly with a cliff that plummets sheer to the Mediterranean. The entire coastline around Sorrento was a Greek colony during the Magna Graecia period, the legendary site of Homer's sirens, before being conquered by the Romans who enjoyed the area as a summer playground. Since then it has maintained its reputation as an exclusive tourist destination. It boasts a mild climate, beautiful views and citrus-scented air.

Amazing driver! Calm and collected in thick traffic. Picked us up at our hotel, took us to our guide at Pompei, then picked us back up to take us to Naples airport. But importantly, offered to help kill some time before our flight by taking us on a mini tour of Naples: including Duomo di Napoli & the amazing and historical pizza spot L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele (he got us in immediately, VIP Service!)! Absolutely count on this driver to deliver!
